while were talking about AI renato, can we expect any improvement in the AI from the rf1 engine. I think Ai is where AMS struggle to keep up with the competition in regards to attacking and defending abilities.

Please don't take this the wrong way :(

With the new driver animation will we finally get away from the stiff armed driver turning the wheel and get a bent armed driver?

Is the driver swap working well in AMS?

Another question (let's hope there is an answer for both of them):
Do I need to be an AMS owner to have the dedi server working? If yes can you please change this? Since it's just the server would be great if we could have an account saved in the server only to load AMS (and now rF2 too, ISI will do it)

Until the Dedicated Toll is released by Reiza, then YES!
You will still need an account with the game.

We are working on having that dedi tool available without the game.

FYI folks we are also working on releasing an updated EA roadmap - the takedown period last month naturally impacted plans a bit and with it our release schedule, but we´re pushing to enter the final dev stretch this month. More news soon :)

What about driver swap, is it working well in AMS? Have some plans and this will be needed

Driver swap is not something we worked on at all tbh. It´s the same native code from rF1, which means it works, but not very reliably.

Honestly, I don't even mind if they don't make animations (bent arms), all I ask for is to work on the current arms and draw new ones. The current arms look like they are coming from, and join, from the driver's middle-section - maybe his chest or stomach or something - instead of one arm coming from the left and one from the right.

Maybe it's just all in my head, but, I swear, something about the arms looks like they join on an angle from the driver's chest. I noticed this in some other RFactor 1 mods....Weird, maybe it's just me...

Agree, it might be a restriction of the rf engine or code maybe?

No, the arms are attached to the steeringwheel. When the steeringwheel turns the arms turn the same angle, Therefore the arms are bend together towards the chest of the driver. When the arms are attached in a natural way to the shoulders, the arms would be sticking out of the cockpit when the steeringwheel is turned. I tried this with the CART Extreme mod.
