Norton AV is also up to its stupid tricks with this release. I usually just go in an mark ams.exe as a file to be ignored/excluded, restore the one from quarantine, and it's good to go. With 1.3, NAV would not give the option to restore the file, so I had to do a Steam integrity check so it could be replaced--after I marked it for the 20th time (over the months) as an exclusion. It is a giant PITA, and resolves itself once enough people have downloaded and used the file that it is no longer considered new and therefore dangerous-by-default. I keep NAV because on the whole, I would rather have a slightly-too-aggressive AV than a not-aggressive-enough one. Same issue occurs with any less popular software (by global standards) right after updates. And it obviously triggers other AV products. The price we pay for all the malcontents out there attempting to screw and steal from us. With that out of the way, a very impressive update list!! Look forward to all the new features and tweaks. The continuous improvement approach and attitude is what makes AMS great and why I will buy the next sim from Reiza sight unseen.
