    I was a level 6 backer during the indiegogo campaign so the perks for my contribution were:

    "Earns: -Dev forum access; -Voting rights in forum; -Beta access to new builds; -Digital copy for Formula Truck 2013 + Stock Car Extreme (Steam or NonSteam); -Steam copy for our next game (including all eventual DLCs) -Reiza Sticker"

    Since this is old information (no mention of AMS) I was wondering what these perks mean now?
    Does the "Steam copy for our next game (including all eventual DLCs)" mean AMS or the DirectX 12 successor to AMS?

    So Level 6 backers and above should get the DirectX 12 successor to AMS and it's DLCs for free?

    Is still possible to become a contributor? The work on AMS so far is superb, I barely can imagine what Reiza's guys could achieve with a new graphics engine.

    Level 6 - $100 USD
    Earns:

    • Reiza51 forum access;
    • Voting rights in Reiza51;
    • Beta access to new builds of SCE / AMS + Reiza2017;
    • Digital copy for Formula Truck 2013 + Stock Car Extreme (Steam or NonSteam);
    • AMS & ALL DLCs;
    • Reiza2017 + ALL DLCs;
    • Reiza Sticker
    ... From the Reiza51 forum. Also are we sure about DX12 or is that still speculation? If Reiza goes for DX11, we'll have a whole bunch of people say things like "but the backers were promised DX12!!"

    Currently DX12 does not offer much. I have not noticed any graphical features that are not present DX11 and as far as the few games I own which support DX12, there is no performance benefit either and quite a few actually run worse. But I am running a GTX 980, so it might be a different story for AMD cards. Now that said, as far as I observe, so far DX12 has been a major letdown for gamers all over the board. Either developers lack the knowledge to implement it in such a way, it would benefit the hardware, or the hardware does not do a good job cooperating with the API. Still, Vulkan seems to be all the hype it was supposed to be.

    I think Reiza would be wise to get some sort of hardware survey going and check, if DX12 does really make sense (not to mention DX12 means Win10 exclusively).

    I just hope that whatever they use, it will support SLI.
    Quite a few new games I have bought just haven't had any SLI support at all.
    I'm a bit dubious if SLI will get any.

    Painful decision, but for me, no SLI may have to = no buy.

    I completely quit SLI, just sold one of my GPUs, worst cost/ benefit ever.

    Imo a new game has to use DX12. DX11 is outdated.
