I was doing a test day in the formula 3 and found when i was coming close to full lock, my drivers hands would appear. Has anyone else seen this? I did a very quick google search and could only find people asking for hands.

I had an issue with a Formula Extreme car that had driver hands that blocked my view:

how to remove driver arms in cockpit view?

It was a problem specific to 2 teams, all other teams worked fine.
Have you tried other F3 teams to see if it happens with all of them?

It's because your seat is too far back. Move it forward a little :)

Some cars are glitched and show hands even if you use default seat position. That was the case with the Formula Extreme cars I mentioned in the link.

I'm aware of this. But I tested F301 and hands do appear in cockpit view if you move your seat way to the back, so I guess OP uses very low FOV, hence his seat position and arms visible.

This might explain why I hadn't seen it before, I run a fairly low FOV but play with my seat position on the fly. You think it would more likely show if you had a wider angle?

Well, I can only say things based on my own experience - I use 50 FOV in cockpit view and only had that kind of problem recently while testing your problem out (when I set my seat so far back that I could barely see the gear indicator and then arms appeared). :)
It's some kind of bug that probably can be fixed for all low-FOV people, but for now you will have to satisfy with playing with your seat position. Unless there's another solution available that I'm not aware of.

Do you look at the hands while you're driving? Easy fix just turn them and the wheel off. Problem fixed! :)
