I don't know why but sometimes I'm on full throttle and the speed won't increase. It happened today with the F3 and the McLaren GT. It wasn't happening yesterday. Any ideas of what might be causing this?

Do you delete the Automobilista 2 folder in documents after each update? That might be one reason why the ffb feels strange to you.

Can you post full settings both on wheel and in game? That will let us see if anything is wrong. Worth deleting your AMS2 mydocs folder if you haven't done that before - only takes a couple of minutes to reset everything (once you've done it a few times.

From memory I'm using 50 gain in game, 50 FX, 25 dampening, 0 LFB. On wheel vary strength between around 50 and around 65 depending on car. INT at 4, FEI at 100,

The deleting or not deleting is causing problems? Asking, because I just got a DD2 myself.

Deleting resets your settings, it doesn't cause problems. You will have to re-map your controls though.

By deleting it you start from scratch with your settings. Sometimes this solves the problems some guys are experiencing with their ffb. Worth a try, just takes 5min.

Sorry still a bit new to PC stuff, which folders do you want to delete, any screen shots would help? Is this an ams thing as I’ve never deleted copies of any other title before.
    Thank you for your help

Are you running any Natural Damper or friction or inertia? Also any game damper on the wheel? I tried a million different settings so nothing really to report. I’ve tried running full game damper, none, tried natural and inertia. As for power about the same as yours, same with INT and FEI

Go to your "Documents" folder (in most cases under c:/). There should be a folder called "Automobilista 2". Delete this. Once you start AMS2 the folder will be created new automatically.

Yeah, I'd be quite surprised if the Bimmer didn't just come with the release of Nords. Thumbs crossed, pretty excited!
Edit: Hope ACFAN does the sounds on that one as well...

In ACC the Beemer is an understeer simulator. If it's modeled right I'm not switching the McLaren for it. The front end is just too heavy.
Edit. Sorry for my ignorance, what's ACFAN?

Thanks. AMS2 GT3's sound very good. But they don't compare to ACC. There you can even hear g'box auxiliary oil pumps. But obviously ACC is much more focused on the class. AMS2 is pretty good. Just not as good

AFAIK the only car with sounds by ACFAN released so far is the Porsche GT3, and I think it sounds amazing and comparable with ACC. Some of the previously released cars have kinda mediocre sounds and I hope ACFAN eventually gets around to give them his treatment.
