steamvr and hp reverb controls

Hello everybody,

i have big problems in steamvr with the hp reverb and the controls in the game.
i use an xbox controller connected via cable. Sometimes it works, but often I sit there and nothing happens in the menu. no matter which key I press.
can someone help me please?

I don't switch on the controllers (reverb ones),I only use the mouse to navigate the UI.
I also switch off the auto gaze in vr settings as it causes me lots of false clicks.

 

@Oliver Augst are you connecting the controller to the same usb controller on the motherboard?

 

for the controller i use a usb hub.

but how can i use the mouse in the UI ?

i drive with fanatec v3 and csw 2.5v.

in the UI i only can use the xbox controller

Here's a trick. You can use the mini joystick POV button as your input device on Fanatec wheels to move around the UI and select things, you don't need to use the controller or keyboard.
