Newcomer to AMS series, loving AMS2 so far! I was wondering if there were plans for a tyre/fuel burn multiplier. It'd be great to accompany the time acceleration, allowing to play out longer races with the proper amount of pit stops. I come from R3E where that was an option in the race setup screen (perhaps an idea to move it there unlike in PCars 2?). Also perhaps an option to put mandatory pit stop on timed races? Cheers!
Actually about fuel... I think it is better to add a feature that restirct fuel tank capacity. It is sometimes weird that people can always use maximum tank of fuel everytime at start, this usually made race become a same-strategy (0 stop) fight.
To add to this request, a decimal multiplier would be nice, for example 1.5x fuel to force a pitstop, as the step between 1x and 2x can be too big.
10 lap sprint races are senseless in my opinion. Make races with 50 laps or 1+ hour and there will be the need to enter the pits. A fake strategy, just to have to enter pits is disappointing. You'll never learn to work with fuel and save your tires. At endurance races you'll have to work on your strategy. One stop, two stop. Will it rain. How are my brakes, motor or other parts.? Is there need for repair? Thats racing!
And I still think a fuel tank capacity limiter will work. Most of the endurance championship have some restriction of "how many fuel can be added during each pitstop".
I agree with multipliers or tank limits. AMS 1 had and it was nice, I used offline and some leagues I have been used it as well. It does not make any sense that we have an "accelerated" tyre wear (which rate?) and a "slow" fuel consumption....
Well it is been a while but in case you did not do it yet, you should do in The Feature Request Thread...
