Good move for the DLC tracks available to all users in fixed championships. It will be the currently missing demo/preview mode for these awesome tracks. If later on there are "themed" career modes added to the game, I hope they will also feature the DLC tracks to every user, to make these career modes more "complete" and interesting.

you're a bit late man. All DLC tracks are loaded to everyone since first came out. So will be the cars.

That growing toxicity on some gaming and sim racing "communities" became quite bad in the past few years and to be honest: That's part of the reason i'm not spending too much time on forums and other social platforms anymore. I love gaming and i love sim racing, but some people just make me feel ashamed of my hobby.

I'm aware no sim is perfect, but i love almost all of them. AMS 1, AMS 2, rF2, AC, ACC, R3E, iRacing, Dirt Rally 2.0, even Project CARS 2 can be very fun to drive with the right cars on the right tracks. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. But all that mourning all the time, especially on steam forums and race department is really taking the fun out of it. It's absolutely okay to criticize specific issues in a civilized manner, but some people just want to spread bad vibes.

The whole internet that feels more and more toxic every year and sometimes i just wanna pull that internet cable out of it's socket and read a good book.

While we wait for the historic 1970s layout I guess this shows what kind of races we can look forward to :D

The DLC is NOT being made free at all. It is being made limited access. They are NOT the same.

If Long Beach is coming then Sebring and other USA/CAN/Mexico tracks would probably come aswell. Hopefully also lots of lesser known tracks for the amateur racing + american tracks. So we have USA/UK/Brasil vibe. Probably time to fleshout Aussie/Kiwi as well and then you've some good vibe. Still don't know about Europe, tho. The tracks + cars are now all over the world. It messes up my head a bit cause I wanna know what route Reiza wants to go. Personally I don't like if we hop all over the world in a Copa Uno for example or so, because that doesn't make sense.

If Long Beach is coming I hope we get historic versions. It's changed a lot over the years, mostly due to new buildings meaning old parts of the track had to be cut.

    Long Beach

I guess THE classic version is the Formula 1 1975-81. Although the CART version used from 1992 - 1998 looks fun! Both would be great ;)

It's great to see Group C cars coming. Just beautiful looking and sounding cars.

It would be great (in addition to the 956/962 and C9) to get the Jaguar XJR-9, Mazda 767B & Nissan R89C. Add in a 1989 historic version of Le Mans (the last year pre mulsanne chicanes) and we'd all be in Group C heaven!

Add the Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo (plus IMSA versions of all the above Group C cars) and a 1989 Historic version of the Daytona Road Course and we're in 80's Sportscar heaven :)

I remember from the Roadmap that there will be an American Tracks Pack. I suspect that Long Beach and Daytona will be on that. I'm also hoping for Road America, Road Atlanta, and Watkins Glen, but we'll see. Sebring would be nice as well. All we'd need is Mid-Ohio and Lime Rock and you can pretty much re-create the IMSA season.

I think it's a great idea to "unplug" every once in a while. Negativity seems to have taken hold in so many ways and places, keeping our sanity sometimes requires us to take a step back and see our world through a different lens (Maybe an old-school one. Be sure to clean it first though). ;)
