In a shock to no one whatsoever, Matt Drummond dominated round 1 at Bathurst. Some great battles, a lot of wall taps and a grid of 20 racers turned out to be a great race. Some poor buggers had no headlights left when night rolled in and miraculously they still finished!
After race 3 Matt would have to either miss a race, or DNF to lose the championship. If Alain can run the table and get the additional pole and win points it would get interesting if Matt finishes 3rd or worse in one of the next 2 races.
