Dunno if this helps but the A.I. run a simplified tire model as far as i know so maybe not as affected by temps as players, but you'd need a dev to confirm that.

    Two things I sometimes ponder..

    1. For suitable tracks will there by larger grids in the future..?

    2. Will we be able to set the number of Ai vehicles per class..?

Yes, please. I would want this very much. In AC you can pick and select opponent cars. This would be even better, but at least the ability to select numbee of AI in each class should exist.

Please Reiza can you disable the option to adjust the ARB's via the cockpit. Majority of vehicles should not be able to make this adjustment on the fly..

The Group C cars need some work on the aero balance...

After a week of testing I feel the ffb is massively improved good job Reiza! but I have to agree all 3 cars need more work.
As expected both of the new Group C cars feel quite a bit more aggressive than they are in pcars 2 which is expected as in AMS2(more than 800hp) both have more power than in pcars2(around 720hp).
The surprise if you compare the cars Sauber C9 against the Group C Nissan in pcars2(yes I disabled TC in pcars2) that also has 800hp again the cars in AMS2 are quite a bit more difficult to put the power down and more aggressive on the limit. This seems to be the trend with AMS2 when you try to compare with the sister cars from pcars2(even AC or AMS1 in some cases). Having a car that is more aggressive on the limit is not a big problem - even though not many seem to like a more aggressive car - but the instant loss of traction that is also present in other cars is and there is no way around it no matter what setup tweaks you do to the differential.
Regarding the ffb the Sauber C9 has good ffb but the other two cars feel a bit disconnected from the ffb. The Porsche feels like it has small amount of lag and the Stock car Omega1999 feels quite numb in the middle, quite bad and this is unfortunate as the car is really enjoyable to race.
Good to see there is no crackling or pops in the sounds and the balance is the same as with the majority of cars. Massive improvements here compared to pcars2 the Porsche 962C sounds amazing, love the turbo sounds for both Group C cars.

I just noticed on your sig that you're using a formula rim so you might need to turn the in-game gain down to 30. I use 40 gain with my GT rim and 30 gain with FV2 rim.

Have you tried running with DPR - 0? Reiza actually recommends turning it off and letting the in game ffb process DPR. I've got mine to 0, and the ffb is AMAZING!

I don't think that's right. I think you have it backwards.

NDP is damping generated by the wheel base and not influenced by the game. I have that turned OFF to let the game handle damping, as you say is recommended.

DPR is damping coming directly from the game. If you turn it to zero, like you suggest, you're basically turning OFF in-game damping. It should be at 100 and then whatever your preference in-game.

I'm not sure I would make any solid comparisons to PC2. I simply do not trust anything SMS churned out from the physics department.

I also do not find these cars as you say "overly aggressive". If anything I was a little surprised as I thought they maybe a little more wild particularly on 100% boost. Maybe not though as they have big rubber and massive amounts of downforce.

Sorry matey I'm not sure I agree with that. I have DPR set to zero and I can clearly feel the in game damping changes..
