Well, I must be known here as a very annoying customer who always hit the same button, Reiza is doing a great job for me with the revisions he's been implementing, but I have to say a few things here.
I think they got a little lost in the development line, I think they returned a lot to the new public, which is the Europeans, with that they left many cars that were very successful leaning against the beginning, I always hit the Stock Car button 2019 and 2020, they are they should have been launched in mayoral conditions, I believe that 2019 had a very good evolution, but I still find Stock 2020 very much to be desired, not only due to the difficult physics, which could be corrected with setup, but strange behaviors that no adjustments solve such as for example braking and the car coming out of the rear and in several cars, gives the impression of having generic physics, and it is useless to say that Stock 2020 is so in the real world that I never saw a StockCar 2020 driver working so much to keep a car straight as in Automobilista2, details of smoke, dust, rain animation on the windshield is untrue, it spoils the experience a little, you make adjustments and the car doesn’t change, I think that before new content, Reiza has to sea what you already have is not a little, there is no point in putting content without fixing the problems of those who are already in the game, I think it's a fantastic game but it still needs a lot of work.

Not as official content maybe, but the modding scene recreated it in GPL, then ported it to rFactor 1.

It is also available in AC and it looks great with those walls and so dangerous but for me the top track when it comes to vintage tracks is Bridgehampton, has such an amazing flow and also requires big b... to be fast, unfortunatley I do not see it mentioned to often and probably will never make it to AMS2 :)!.

    Perhaps something like a version of Allan Moffat's 1983 Group C RX7 ?
    Allan Moffat's 1983 Group C Mazda RX7 Review
It would probably need a new class - in which case you could add in something else like a Group C Holden Commodore. That'd make for some pretty good racing.

Re: NZL tracks - Pukekohe would be my first choice as I like the flow of that track, but Highlands or Manfeild would be good too - especially if Manfeild had multiple layouts.

One thing that would make all the cars look better straight away is fixing the camber showing on the cars wheels. I wonder if this is a problem deep in the code of the madness engine as its been persistent since the get go. Anyone got any rhyme or reason on that one?

Reiza has stated previously that it is some complicated issue, unfortunately.

One year in and still there are so many of these little tiny inconveniences/issues and lack of some relevant features, just shows how challenging it is to work in this field:
    1. visually wrong camber
    2. driver models are placeholders and often are not even correctly aligned to the cockpit
    3. often times pitcrew invades the track
    4. pitcrew floats 10m in the air in Monaco
    5. pitcrew doesn't disappear after returning to the garage
    6. we still do not have the proper tyre compounds for some open wheel series
    7. pit strategy menu still awful to navigate
    8. still can't assign keys to increase/decrease fuel map and TC
    9. steering wheel still shows up even if you turn it off
    10. F-Ultimate DRS light on steering wheel still not functional
    11. can't adjust mirror angles (unfortunately I think this one is not looking like will ever be fixed, as it could be unproportionally complicated to fix)
    12. AI still uses triplicated/quadruplicated liveries even if there are liveries enough for everyone
    13. time tables compresses very long names so the font becomes tiny and look terrible. This was something the community here demanded, which was a bad request imho. The first instance of AMS2 had the names cropped to the first 3 letters and I very much prefer that
    14. some series do not have the proper championship rules (ie: F-Ultimate doesn't award 1 point for fastest lap, doesn't require 1 tyre compound change)
    15. lack of crucial hosting features: grid repositioning, session restarting, real time race director
    16. no rules for full course yellow, no safety car
    17. impossible to rejoin a race if your connection is dropped (would be great to rejoin from the pits)
    18. this one is my personal opinion and not truly an issue but as annoying as I can get I'll keep repeating myself: the UI font is ugly
There are a couple other issues that I can remember from the top of my head (such as some rendering situations), but the ones posted above are some of the most persistent inconveniences/issues we've had for a very long time in the game. As I lack the skill, I do not dare to comment on the physics side of the sim, but in general it feels ok for the most part.

However even with all these problems the game is great and fun to play, very frustrating sometimes though.

A minor thing that I think should be changed is the size of the rear view mirror in the Super V8 cars.
I've only driven them a few times, but every-time I do, I think "who puts a rear view mirror of that size in a racing car ?". It obscures too much of the view out the front window.
I think it should be down-sized, or removed completely and we should just use either the virtual mirror, or the real world rear view mirror on the driver's side door.
    image_2021-04-14_030617.png
In saying that, I have seen real world photo's of a V8 Supercar with a very large rear view mirror (eg: the Falcon on this page Super Car Cockpit (Page 1) - Line.17QQ.com), but from what I know (and I could be wrong), it's more of a personal preference thing, as I've seen plenty of V8 supercar cockpits with normal size mirrors. I think it should be down-sized by about 50% to improve the visibility out of the cockpit as a compromise, but I'd be perfectly happy if it was deleted.

You are not the only one who sees these small problems and as you mention there quite a few others.
I agree many of them are small issues but they all add up and make the AMS2 a lot less enjoyable in time.
I have zero experience running a game business or programming a game and I do not want to criticize Reiza but I feel this is where they do not quite understand what we expect from this game now a year has passed even though quite a few of us keep mentioning these small but many not game braking issues.
But knowing Reiza I am probably wrong and in the next updates many of these bugs will be fixed.

The smaller the mirror in a race car (not only V8 Supercars, but in general), the more useless it actually is. These things are not as good, as we have them in our simulator. IRL these things vibrate and have so much dead angle, that you could either leave them out anyway or make them bigger.

Some examples to show, it's not that rare:

First time I saw this huge fricking rearmirror in Dirt Rally while first time triples.. I was like: 'Ahhhhhh' but then I understood Dirt Rally 1 didn't had real triple FoV, so I calmed down. Then 1 year later I played AMS 1 and I was like: 'AHhhhhhh' again. :D

Regarding the rear mirror I have a suggestion, I saw this type of mirror in GRID on Youtube and I think it is less artificial than the one we currently have in AMS2(and all other sims I play), I think it helps not breaking the immersion while racing. What do you guys think?

No their very hard to find for some reason...
Apparently we have a big wallaby problem and need to cull anything wearing a yellow shirt.
Nobody is allowed in to fortress NZ as that threatens our socialist government control .

    Since you asked.
From the perspective of a single standard width monitor Chap.

The mirror in the image is pretty useless as it has too narrow a field of view.
couple that with wing mirrors in tin tops are hard to see if at all. dependant on seat and fov.and even then tricky.

Deleting the mirror would make no sense to me and promote accidents, an optional mirror would make sense (if you dont like or see the need for 1)
Super v8 mirror works for me.

An option of: none ,standard, or of 3 ie rf2 wide, would be great and safer.
    All mirrors adjustable inc wing/door

As for the guys in these real race cars, probably very very sensible! Chaps

In simracing I've seen decent mirrors only in good old LFS, AC (not vanilla but added by CSP) and iRacing. Those mirrors are fully 3D, you can see reflection of your own car (or even yourself!) and those things are like real thing in VR. Angle can be adjusted as well as reflection ratio.

Something similar would be welcomed in AMS2 by me and other VR racers with widely open hands.

Seeing myself in LFS mirrors was fun in VR. Great attention to detail.

Not sure where they got my picture though.

I know that Project Cars 2 was very annoying with the wheels. They often had very weird behavior. And that was very offputting for me. That seems fixed in AMS2 but maybe it is related.
