How is the vertical FOV defined in this game?

Is is the full angle the screen is viewed at, or half of the angle?

I use 0.5 in R3E and rF2 units, that is approximately 30 degrees half angle. In Automobilista (which I just acquired) I have it now at default, and that doesn't look too far off. Can't find the official definition of the units in the game though.

It's the same as rF2, rF1, AC - standard horizontal FoV.

R3E has a "default" FoV behind the scenes, then the multiplier you set gives the "output" FoV. .5 FoV in R3E should be around ~28 or so Horizontal just estimating from what I know my values are in that game.

I’ve been messing with lower than default FOV on a 21:9 monitor. As it is looking through a monitor limits your peripheral vision as it is, narrower FOV just makes this worse for me. I don’t really like a low FOV really. imo
