Are you in the Public Beta?
If not I strongly suggest to be.
While I'm not VR v3.10 contains much more advances than the standard version and is very stable.

@newtonpg and @alink - thank you both. I’ve joined the Discord and downloaded the Beta (it already looks like some nice changes have been made from 2.1)

I’ve also had a good read of Zach’s set-up tips which is a great read for a novice like me. Also, having had a read through of the manual, that’s very informative too even though it’s clearly for a version several iterations old.

Slightly off topic - it’s great to find information resources in one place. One of the struggles I’ve had is finding sources of information that links subjects together to form a work flow. I guess that’s part of the problem with such a deep subject.

Anyway, you’ve helped me find my way to the starting point, so thank you both.

    PRODUCTION RELEASE 2.2.0

    New Features:

    1) Ability to select as many laps as you want (Be weary huge performance hit the more laps you try to render)

    2) Added the Sidebar that dynamically adds/removes data based on what is selected in the lap tree.

    3) Backend changes (nearly entire rewrite of the app)

    1) Added GT4 and 2020 GT3 cars to the ACC Car Param Dropdown.

    2) Removed Damper Histogram Margins

    3) Updated the Car Param UI

    4) Updated Time Slip Messages on Driver graphs

    5) Added the ability to hold down the car params increment buttons.

    6) Changed the full screen behavior so it does not hide the task bar.

    7) Added some buttons on each page to zoom the graph either in x, y, or x and y at same time. These zooming functions are also key binds.

    8) Added Error Logging to RST. The error log will save to the main directory you have RST installed at and is called error.txt

    9) Driver toggle, this new toggle will auto uncheck the last lap and check the recently completed lap in RST, this is a feature that is nice if you have RST on a second screen and your trying to improve yourself in a specific corner and have a baseline lap selected.

    10) Changed the autologin.txt file location to be in the app data folder, we are hoping this gets around the need for RST to be started as admin every update.

    11) RST now points to an enterprise server. The old server will remain online for another 3 weeks so everyone can transition to the new version of RST, at that time it will be shutdown.

    Bug Fixes:

    1) General Performance improvements in the backend

    2) Fixed issue that would cause the application to crash in AMS2 when "skipping to the next session"

    3) Fixed display issue with car params.

    4) Fixed issue where sometimes the symmetric tick box in car params would still allow users to edit each option.

    5) Fixed issue that would prevent RST from reading F1 2019 data.

    6) Changed the color list to help with colors that were too close to one another.

    7) Various stability improvements

As some of you may have noticed, the new Data Streaming functionality is now live. This will take data you collect live (file loaded laps are not streamed), and broadcast your collected lap to everyone in your room. This is quite a big update and and I wanted to take a second to get some initial documentation on how to use this functionality, I will try to get a video out on it over the next few days!

Step 1: Open the Stream Explorer
    [IMG]

Step 2: Join a Room or Create a Room 2a) To Join a prexisting room, when you the window opens it will load all available rooms, simple click the room you'd like to join. and then enter the password on the right, then click ("Join")

Step 2: 2b) To create a room, click on the "Start Room" button, then give the room a name, and password. The room name is the name that will appear on the server explorer, and the password is the password all your friends must use to "join" your room
    [IMG]

Step 3) Recieve Data You are now connected to your room, and any laps captured live will be broadcasted to everyone in the room. You can now close the data broadcast explorer and wait for laps to download into your RST client. If you want to check the status of your connection, you can open the stream explorer again, and you'll notice in the bottom left if your connected to the RST broadcast server, and then after the "disconnect" button it will let you know if your in a room or not, and the time of your last packet that was broadcasted.

Step 4) Disconnect Once your ready to close the connection, simply open the Stream Explorer and then click the "disconnect" button.

Does this tools also tells you what to set? Example: your tires are XX degrees below ideal temp so set this and this to fix this issue?
Or left rear and right rear brakes getting to hot, open the brake duct a bit more.
    Something like that.

Edit, Never mind. It is a monthly subscription.:( I don't want to rent software.

For purchasing, take a look here:
If nothing changed, a monthly subscription is not neccessary.

In generall, it tells the facts, but not how to fix the issue.
Because 'fixing' an issue is such complex I wouldn't trust any ready advice.
But inside the tool, there are several explanations / videos of 'HOW TO WORK' with the charts, what they show, what could be the reason for and what can be tried to eleminate or to gain the issue.

mh, sorry, then it was changed.
The time I bought it it was possible, first download, then buy a license one time for the SIM(s) you use.
Have you tried to use the contact? Maybe there is another way....

RST doesn't tell you what to do, but it does give you the data so you can take out all the guess work you may have been doing by trial and error tweaking. Saves a lot of time trying this and that, and sometimes not actually getting anywhere.
The Users manual is also packed with a ton of info about how to use it, and the Discord channel has a quick response time with loads of support. Almost any question asked is replied to quickly.
