Other than modern f1, is it more bumpy?

I would say less in my view. And unlike default you can scale it in file vs other fx.
In default you have one level of fx and can only adjust the volume.

    Hey Shane,

If you want to lower the large bumps in general, which I think is what you feel, as Kuku posted you can also lower the "large_track_bump_scale". Maybe put it at half or something like that.

Tx man, large_track_bump down from 0.4 to 0.2 works a treat!

    DD2 Feedback

having jumped straight to ver 45 I went back to test 44 as there was a lot more feedback on that file. I prefer 45 as i found 44 somewhat vague in corning and the over-rotation issue came back in cornering. 45 gave me just enough resistance in turns to feel confident.

One of my tests is to drive Bathurst to see how confident I can be with putting the car in the right spot and to be side by side with another car and the file passes for me.

    Only changes made

    (master_road 1.00) dropped to 1.00
    (tyre_resistance2_timing 0.000) dropped to 0
    (tyre_resistance3_timing 0.000) droped to 0

not sure if the last 2 really make a difference but I want to remove anything that delays the wheel - if i am reading the description right

damn 40fx, I use like 22 or 25. Its now disconnected from gain so you dont have to use so high fx.

i like slip or scrub feel, and that comes from fx. when i lower the fx it seems to go away, but when higher i feel it, only issue is bumps are there too. i want the game to feel like rf2, while i wont be able to exactly achive it, i want to get close. can i change the scaling alot? kerbs arent bumpy enough, so can i increase it be .5? i dont want to mess anything up, but i want it to feel how like.

also which kerb option effects rumbling? kerbs_surface_scale or kerb_bump_scale? i see bump scale says tall kerbs, does that mean stuff like adeilade or any kerb like suzaka?

I’m not sure lower master road scale is going to help bump and details . It’s basically contradictory to raises in kerbs etc.
a lot of us run up to around 1.35 master road scale.
Also there maybe some fanatec settings your running that are numbing your sensations of bumps etc, as if I recall correctly ( probably not ) it’s often been said by other Fanatec belt users , that normal scales make the kerbs to strong.
Hopefully someone like @Alegunner68 or @Michael Enright could advise on the fanatec settings.

I think the kerbs_surface_scale is the harshness of the surface of the kerbs, such as saw tooth etc. and the kerb_bump_scale is the bump you get as you initially hit or come off a kerb. That's how it feels to me.

Oh, that sounds bad, Notifying @Domagoj Lovric, as I don't have beta access and not sure what might have changed?

I ran the beta last night with custom files without any problems, so I don't think it is a general issue...

Ok, nice, thx for that information.
Can you guys shed some light for the rest of us if this new content & update will be as nice as people seem to report thus far? :)

Maybe even nicer? :p and throw the M4 in the mix for even more greatness!

On the FFB front, I've been using the customised 4.4 file for Logitech wheels since the very beginning of beta 1.2 with no issues. I think it is just as good as the current release version of the game.
