No. There are some physics updates. I think they’re very significant and a very big step in the right direction. Perfect, probably not but very good now and I see myself starting to spend more time here. I think the physics are by far the best part of the update.

Well...you could be correct as well (as it is my other favorite sim) but the latest release notes are also saying improvement in the FFB/Physics area are coming this Friday.... but I'm impatient and want to hear back from early testers on the expected improvements.

I think the FFB has made a huge step forward. I’m using an rFuktor custom file (3.8 maybe?), and the latest build feels just great. The new tyre sounds work really well with the ffb brake feel too.

Edit: in response to Tom’s comments below. I think he’s right in that the FFB changes are not explicit but rather informed by the physics changes. The feeling of vehicle dynamics felt through the ffb is significantly improved because of this. The wheel is arguably the biggest part of the physics communication and what the user feels through the wheel is quite different now IMO.

There is no mention of any "new FFB" in the latest development update. We only have section about physics development , and yes i now that changes in physics can affect how we feel FFB. So the question is how recent changes in physics translate to FFB? Very well from what I can read.

Not in front of the pc atm, but from memory dri -2
    fei 70
    sen ait

    Everything else is default

    I’m using a tweaked rFuktot file (3.8 I think)

    in game:

    gain ~70
    LFB ~ 40
    Fx ~ 40
Damping ( which is power steering strength in these custom files) ~50
