So the weekends racing was great to watch. Heres 1 we could reproduce, obvious difference firstly would be the AI twitchy move left/right when close.
lol Love the whinney 'too loud' g/box, you can hear the 3 states clearly which the c9 sauber does also in ams2 +probably others I don't drive of course
on/off throttle and almost silent in true 'coast' no load

Yes. I still can't understand, why so many sims don't do it. Yes the sound is screechy and loud and you have 2-3 different whines at different pitch, but it's supposed to do it and adds quite some layers of immersion, when running over the NoS with this noise...there is something amiss without it.

Even more so when having the interior sounds muffled (Helmet) in-game. Let those gears sing and howl! Glorious.:D

yep the 3 levels are very clear in ams2. 2 loud and obvious, 3 brief and a little trickier, brief but noticeable when you drive the car as if diagnosing pinion bearings
Seems when I checked sound levels with equalizer to isolate turbo from box whine .in the C9 the whine is a perhaps a little loud compared to the best onboard with a driver pushing at Spa rather than a jounalist and on high boost. Also pc2 + turbine sounds and boost sounds are better imo whine also but thats just a level difference. (lower)
Its clear that the whine is thankfully real and loud but I maintain the Overall turbo sound in ams 2 C9 is muted partially by the high whine level and and low turbine spin sound, the 1 heard on throttle and when coming off throttle as the turbine spins down, clearly heard in bozzy vid at Monza + the 1 I posted RL Spa. All I have heard /isolated is the low audio level of hiss/wosh on throttle.

maybe those that think the actual turbo sound is high or too high would care to illustrate it esp from g/box whine. RL Turbos spin up/down can be heard whilst stationary as well as driving.

    Nice example
(if not a little sedate,to be expected I guess as a passenger to thrill)
So much better to see these with throttle and brake inputs etc.

Has this video of the Porsche 911 GT3 R at VIR been included? (Apologies if so.) Zacharie Robichon has to wrestle the wheel, especially in the last sector.

"With a time of 6:43.300 minutes, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS is now the fastest production vehicle on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife."

While this Porsche is not in AMS2, this incredibly fast and smooth lap at the Nords is very interesting.
It struck me how close it is looking to AMS2 in term of general feel and my experience of lapping on the Nords in AMS2.

Here is the corollary to the Ultima GTR's qualifying lap at Donington that is in this thread's Ultima section. (It's the one with the cracked windscreen.) I think it is worth including because it shows the driver, who is chasing a Ferrari 458, learning to tame the oversteer on exit and getting the car more neutral before giving it the beans.

This onboard video shows the Road version having the Top Gear track for breakfast. (With a little help from a hard-working driver.)

Are we getting a historic Bathurst? and maybe a historic V8SC like the VK shown here?? This would be so sweet and just look at how much ease is used mid race for (R.I.P) Brocky.
