Reiza !! why do you create a fantastic driving simulator, looking for reality and then you put the game files open for everybody, and allow everyone to use performance mods in AMS2, its sins simulator that is more based on that mods than in how good simracer you are.
    It has no sense.

.... Minute 3:46...... A default GT3 running faster than a GTE. Imposible if it's not an external mod.

Mods can be a good thing but, poorly done one's can be a major detractor. Searching for and testing mod content can be a hobby all in itself.

Supporting mod'ers requires a lot of time and resources from developers so, it's understandable that some dev's would rather follow a path where they can focus their energy into a more polished product. I think sim-land needs more of that.

AC has some really great mods but sadly, rF2 is pretty much a hot mess, both in terms of the title itself and most of the mod-content, imo. We may want a more advanced simulation but, it ultimately may prove too problematic where mod's are concerned.

The video you posted is from Nemesis69. He doesn't use any mods. He really is that fast. Check out his interview here:

It actually runs 300 km/h if you set the rear downforce to zero. ;)

No uso mods ... uso esfuerzo.
Y sé de lo que estoy hablando mejor que tú aparentemente.
Y por cierto, lo intentas, demuestra que no sabes de lo que estás hablando.;)

    Translation:
    "‎I don't use mods... use effort. ‎
‎ And I know what I'm talking about better than you apparently. ‎
‎ And by the way, you try, it shows that you don't know what you're talking about
    ".

Right. You can believe whatever you like. It's cool with me.

Wow, the guy in the video is really good, driving the car at the very limit.

Had to try it myself out of curiosity. The best I can squeeze out of the 911 GT3R with the default setup at that braking point is about 273 km/h. I should try this again while recording the telemetry data.

I'm no alien and I'm not doubting that it's doable. My question is, where does he get the extra speed? It didn't seem like my line and speed out of the corner before the straight is too different from his, but that's got to be the main point, right?

As a sidenote, I noticed some ambiguity in the way the setups work. If you reset to defaults on a test day, drive a bit and then press the "Return to the pits" button and check the setup, your car will have the saved setup you were using before, not the default settings. The time trial shows this especially well. You can reset to defaults, return to the menu where you'd start the time trial, go back to the tuning setup screen instead of driving and you can see that the settings have already reverted. You can work around this by resetting to defaults and then saving that setup.

The Porsche GT3-R from April is wildly different to the current version. It's not running 290 in normal config anymore.

GT3 were faster in top speed in the past. BoP has changed in AMS2.

Btw. unBoPed GT3 run faster than you think.
It's an unBoPed Audi R8 GT3, but still:

I tried porsche gt3 default setup (only adjusted break balance), it is impossible for me to get the 291 kph, I did try it several times, my highest top-speed was 267 kph

So.....is @nemesis cheating? This would be the biggest scandal and really sad. I hope it's just the old version and in that case @Renato Simioni needs to reset the leader boards already like was stated months ago!
