I just tried to launch AMS and it says it can;t find the executable.

I verified the cache and it reaquired a file (3.9MB) but still can;t find the executable.

I then tried to launch AMS Beta and it has the same problem.

So I tried AMS on my son's computer and it has the same problem.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Figured it out. As per the thread in General Discussion, Norton detects AMS.exe as a virus and deletes the file. Someone should really let them know it's OK.

I read for Mcafee you have to disable realtime scan first and then run integrity check, exec. will be reloaded but once you re-enable realtime it will be quarantined or deleted. :(

Mcafee quarantines AMS.exe each time I start Automobilista reporting that it is infected with the following virus: "JTI/Suspect!131076".
Wherever I look I can't find any reports of this so-called virus anywhere.
With the Beta version Reiza 51 I have no problems at all with it's own AMS.exe

How do you obtain the Beta Version exe ? I surely would prefer this over the craziness.....

When you have the All-Inclusive Membership you also have access to the Reiza 51 Beta version of Automobilista. It's not possible to use the Beta version AMS.exe file in the standard version of Automobilista.
At the moment I only use the Beta version until the problem with the standard ams.exe has been resolved.

Same problem here. My Norton always put the executables, beta and standard, to the quarantine. I need to "rescue" the executables manually to get the game to work again.

Same here, happened again today. This is the only game on Steam that fails updates for the reasons stated. I just selected no updates at Steam until this issue stops. I don't care if someone says it's ok and safe anymore, I just want the game to load like any other Steam game.

Are you sure you don't have a real virus?
