Is anyone willing to share a setup for the V10 and Imola? I look like I'm fighting off killer bees in the cockpit compared to the videos above.

Maximum wings front and rear, softest springs all around and a few clicks less of the front ARB and you are good to go.

I had full aero, softer springs (not full soft), ARB's and dampers. Also just a tad more braking power, more aggressive brake bias and shorter final ratio.

I'don't understand. yesterday I played with the setup and I made a quicker time (now 1.20.222) with stiffer springs. ... I have to go to the track and try the soft setup again

I don't know who else but me, went straight, instead of taking the chicane before the Finish line on Imola 2001? It is a serious time saver.
I think we need a tyrewall, on this piece of track, and retake this Time Trial

You don't need any shortcuts and if someone feel the need to use shortcuts in a computer game, well good luck for them.

@TeSL9 Might be because the stiffer suspension makes the car quite a lot more responsive and therefore easier to hit the apex's. Just stay away from the kerbs and your good. Responsiveness is quite important with a car like this because everything is happening so freaking fast.

yeah i'm hitting the kerbs like a madman today :D
... and shortcuts .... why? whats the point to use them? o_O

edit. watching Mr O'Glocks lap again (again) .. and it seems like i'm using the kerbs much like him.(not in my video, though) I think I just cannot take the corners at the same speed :)

The difference between reasonably fast and alien is not in the setup, nor in racing line. Aliens just use the track better and carry more speed everywhere. You can be several seconds slower but still using identical racing line.

Cause there are no shortcuts for being fast.

Ok i understand but still... I ve been trying everything from setups to not using kerbs and using kerbs. The next thing is to ask for your setups and try to use them to learn more. ... so If you please could send me a setup ?
I'm so hooked that I have to go below 1.20, then I'm fine :D

edit. and of course i understand the difference between me and an alien.;) Just trying to learn and improve. I have been doing this for many years and never quite understood the setups.

I doubt you can't find any performance boost atleast from my setup which is built to suit my driving style. Most likely you find your answer from the traction circle trace. Guys like @Tim O'Glock just can use more of the available traction. And that's not because of the setup but how they drive the car.

Here is my setup. Don't ask why I chose all those values cause I really don't know what I'm doing.

There seems to be some "going extreme soft suspension setup hax". Drove just a few sh*tty laps and got 19.2. There seems to be an infinite grip with the setup.

Edit: Not something I expected to see really. Gotta try to drive a clean lap if I have some time. Now off to watch floorball.

I see you guys went 1.18 :) I will settle down and be happy with 1.19.255 :) It is not a perfect lap for sure, and I see I'm losing the 4 tenths in last sector
    It's been a fun challenge! :D
