No, curiously not only I'm not allowed to alter it, the "zero" has not been there now I looked again. It's just greyed out.

That's good because engine braking should be disabled for SV8..

Could you change your setup value display to "units" and screenshot the car setup again? You find the setting in the gameplay options.

Of course; I wasn't aware it wasn't in units (being unaware what that was). Will do that tomorrow evening after I'm done with my work for that day. In game screenshots are a bit difficult for me to acquire (my gaming PC tends to need ~20 minutes to start, all things included), so I sadly can't do this before.

One question: how is managed the drs thing in TT?
Normally my time is on the first 3-4 pages, but on F1 2022, 250pos.
Wtf. Massive TT partecipation whit this car.

I notice i myself always stick to the F1 tracks when playing the Formula Ultimate Gen 2s.
But the reason is not that its the most authentic, the reason is actually that there aren't any virtual DRS zones for those non F1 tracks which destroys a bit part of the F1 racing for me.

Sometimes i'm caught really wanting to play the F1 cars on a certain track but no DRS zones are really keeping me away from them.

Yes, that is a good point and something I've asked myself. Now, DRS wouldn't make sense at every track. Taruma, Salvador or Cascavel simply don't have the straights for that.
But tracks like Goiania, Curitiba, Jerez, Estoril, Laguna Seca? You just know where the DRS zones would be if F1 raced there.

I'm not sure whether it's possible with the licences, but I'd very much appreciate it if Reiza added DRS zones to these. Maybe not Bathurst, because that one simply doesn't feel like an F1 track at all and might be too narrow, but the others would work just fine.

EDIT: I made a list of all tracks in the game and suggestions where DRS zones might be implemented, where they already are and where they shouldn't ever be.

Tracks that I think should have DRS
    "Estoril"
(DRS on parts of Start/Finish and after T4)
Jerez (DRS on Start-Finish and after T5)
    Kyalami (DRS on Start-Finish)

Tracks that are "borderline suited" for modern F1 and probably should have DRS
    Brasilia
(DRS after T1, after T2 and on Start/Finish)
Curitiba (DRS on parts of Start Finish and after T3)
Donington GP (DRS before and after chicane and on Start/Finish)
Goiania (DRS on parts of Start/Finish and after T1)
    Laguna Seca (DRS on Start-Finish)
Long Beach (DRS on Start-Finish and after T8)
Road America (DRS on parts of Start/Finish and after T2 (part of straight))
Velo Citta (DRS on Start-Finish and after T7)
Virginia Raceway GP (DRS on parts of Start-Finish and after Oak Tree (parts of straight)
Watkins Glen (DRS on Start-Finish and after T4)

Tracks that could have DRS, but would only work for "smaller" categories, like F3:
    Brands Hatch
    (DRS on Start/Finish)
    Campo Grande (DRS on Start/Finish)
Cascavel (DRS after "Esse" and "Sete")
Curvelo (DRS on Start/Finish and after T3)
    Guapore (DRS on Start/Finish)
    Londrina Short (DRS on Start/Finish)
Santa Cruz (DRS on Start/Finish and after T6)
Snetterton 300 (no real suited straights II DRS after T3 and T7)
Velopark (DRS on Start-Finish and on the back straight)

Tracks that could have DRS, but probably aren't good choices:
    Cleveland
(Hasn't been in use since DRS exists II DRS on Start/Finish, after T1 and after T8)
Daytona Road (straights are very long anyway and doesn't feel like an F1 circuit, especially concerning the chicane II DRS after T7)
Galeao (too provisional looking to be a modern Formula type circuit II DRS on Start/Finish)
Jacarepagua 2005 (Not period accurate II DRS on Start-Finish and after T5)

Tracks that definitely should not have DRS:
    Adelaide
(only suitable fast section has too sharp a corner in it)
Adelaide 1988 (would disrupt historic feeling)
    Bathurst (too narrow)
    Cadwell Park (too narrow)
Hockenheim 2001 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Hockenheim 1988 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Hockenheim 1977 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Yahuacocha (only suitable fast section has too sharp corners in it)
Imola 2001 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Imola 1988 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Imola 1972 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Interlagos 1976 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Jacarepagua 1988 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Kyalami 1976 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Londrina Long (both suitable straights have too quick corners after them)
Montreal 1988 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Monza 1991 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Monza 1971 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Nordschleife (too narrow track, only suitable straight is too long)
Oulton Park (no suitable straight and too narrow track)
    Salvador (no suitable straight)
Silverstone 2001 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Silverstone 1991 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Silverstone 1975 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Spa-Francorchamps 1993 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Spielberg 1974 (would disrupt historic feeling)
Spielberg 1977 (would disrupt historic feeling)
    Taruma (no suitable straight)

    DRS-tracks in the game:
    "Monaco"
    Hockenheim
    Imola
    Interlagos
    "Suzuka"
    Montreal
    Monza
    Nurburgring GP
    Spa-Francorchamps
    Spielberg

Any chance of an update to the version of OpenVR being used in AMS2 so we can start using some of the 3rd party tools to increase VR performance (eg FSR, FFR etc)? The current version is so old, these new utils quite often wont work with AMS2.

That looks like some serious tilt, is that just a trait of these cars? I tried your trackir but I don't get that kind of tilt but I have a problem in that I'm sat in a cockpit and I think although my eyes are centre monitor, it maybe too low for the trackir camera as I have no Pitch(Up and Down) as the left green light goes off when I lift my head up.

Apologies for off topic but I'm sure someone posted a list of the years for the different formula cars and I've searched but can't find it. I'm starting to wonder If I dreamt it or it was on another site!

    I think this should help:
Cars of AMS2 - Unofficial Fansite

It's pretty great and contains a lot of information about the many vehicles in the sim, although the latest content, such as the F-Ultimate Gen 2 isn't in there (yet).

That does indeed help many thanks although I'd seen something different but that's great.

There was a thread with it, I compiled the list for myself and this is what I got. Disclaimer: it's just for my own purpose so I don't guarantee it being correct:

Since then Formula Ultimate got a date of 2019 and we obviously have gen 2 that is 2022.

I mean we still got the confirmation before iR did if nothing else, with the background shot of it a good few dev updates ago, hopefully more information on it comes out whenever the May one's posted:whistle:

I guess iRacing will receive a premium licence from AMG. AMS2 will get it after the iRacing hype. Sad but true (Metallica)

True :(, but better late than never I suppose, especially with the variety already in the class (also good music taste :p)

What "premium license"? The car's been on RaceRoom since last year.
