I understand people wanting more info, but I'm checking the beta forum every day, if we don't see news very soon it's because Reiza is very busy with the stuff for the next update

Personally I've been pretty well-satiated in terms of updates considering the last one only came out about 2 weeks ago, but the more info the merrier I guess (bias ply revision when reiza fix historic car pls)

More so than with every update, even every "legacy update" that came before, I feel like this could be the one to kickstart a period of growth for AMS2, finally finishing a long period of building fundamentals and beginning to capitalize on all the groundwork that's been laid.

So I'm certainly very excited for what they're making behind the scenes.

Looking at footage it seems to have the general layout but with entirely different elevation changes...I can see where Ubisoft got their inspiration for The Crew's take on Laguna

Is there any rumor the brazilian F4 car will be in the game (not in the next update, but in the future)?

I'm fairly certain that was just speculation here on the forums.

    ACC vs. AMS2
While waiting for V1.4 and new content the bitter truth is, that ACC has a much more advanced car physics when it comes to grip car-> track surface.

In my lovely AMS2 I always have the feeling the cars sliding and running over a greasy surface. Also the in-car movement boosting that feeling.

Sry for that @Renato Simioni but the hard comparison let it shine through.

This is a textbook example of non-helpful criticism. The feeling you express in this post is something shared by a not-so-little number of people - several people seem to feel like AMS2 should have more grip in certain places - but it's written in a way so that nothing except a vague sense of negativity comes from it.

When do you think a car does not have enough grip, is there an exact point where you feel the car should exhibit more grip, do you have any comparisons to real life where the real life driver had no issues doing what you couldn't, do you have footage - comparative footage at best - how the real life driver attacked in a way the game didn't allow you to? Is it a car-specific feeling, does it get more pronounced in certain vehicles?

Interesting, helpful questions. If you want to help the game move forward, maybe those could help you express your criticism in a more understandable manner?

Which car, on which track, and what was the weather?
I'm asking, because my experience, after comming back to AMS 2, after few months, is the exact opposite.

I'm currently driving the USA Gen 3 mainly, and the car feeling is perfect for me (with a custom FFB profile). I know all the time what the car is doing and where it wants to go. I especially love how bumps, during turns, at high speed feel. I can feel the car loosing grip, starting to slide laterally a little.. immediately biting at compression. Turn 7 on Road america is a blast in the car, and I can trully attack the corner.

Sure there are still issues, like AI doesn't seem to be rear wheels limited on traction, or medium tyres loosing grip little too fast. But when it comes to car feel, the latest patches has nailed it for me, and has trully transformed the sim. Atleast for the USA Gen 3.

I expect the GT3 cars not to feel so detailed as in ACC. But that is to be expected, and Kunos would have failed massively if it wasn't that case. As ACC is a sim dedicated to GT3 cars mainly, so most of the physics development can be spent on those cars.
