Auto engine start and pit limiter

I've been complaining about Automatic Car starting in garage for ages .Yesterday for the first time ever in a Sprint Race it changed. I was able to start it myself .And in Online Race with my pit stop it actually turned off and I had to start it .Did they fix it with last update if they have this will make the experience so much more real. Assetto Corsa Competizione do the starting procedure the best hopefully Automobilista 2 follows same path .

 

Im still getting the engine auto-starting itself when returning to pits and also on initial load in. This is with autostart turned off in the main menu options.

 

Yes I checked with Ultima same auto starting damn .This has been an issue for ages now from all the posts I read .

 

Yup, it still autostarts in the pits, even if I have autostart off and manual pit stop.

 

I stall it just so I can start it I love R3E, the ignition light lights up and you get a good solid starter sound.

 

It would be great if the ‘auto engine start on/off’ feature could be implemented. I always turn the engine off when first entering a Test Day session (in the pits) just so I can re-start the engine myself and hear it fire up. Love all the different engine start up and sounds, it’s a great feature and should be utilised to it’s maximum potential.

 

It would be even better if the ignition had to be 'held' on, so you could have a toggle switch down. At the moment the ignition is momentary on\off.

Issue persists - when you get into the car the engine starts automatically although manual engine start is configured.

 

REIZA , Are you guys aware of this issue ? Is there a planned fix for the future ?

 

I would like to manually use Ignition and Start buttons in the pits.

As I do in Automobilista 1
