Are they running a sale or is this the price for the pack? Seems surprisingly inexpensive compared to some of the prices I've seen for rF2 content

Nah mate, I'd rather wait for Renato than endure rF2 some more. Former has much better entertainment value.

I am immensely hyped for the focus just what I needed to distract myself from the ams 2 update for a couple of weeks.

But are you sure the 22630 car / track combinations in AMS2 are enough to keep you going in the meantime? ;-)

i30 and Focus.... aka Uber cars. Personally I think 14 pounds is madly overpriced for that content.

Btw, if Copa Petrobras de Marcas makes a comeback, or Reiza introduces the Turismo Nacional to AMS2, I strongly hope it is also an overpriced DLC so no one actually buys it. It is sad enough to be "forced" to drive these IRL, why would anyone bother to drive them virtually... go figure.

However unfortunately I'm almost sure Reiza would add such cars for free to the game.

Edit: I'm a Clio 2005 owner. I wish to neeeever ever see any Clios in any sim :D

Nothing interesting for me in the list of new content...

I guarantee you the focus st btcc is not an Uber car. I would be extremely honoured to drive it.

I thought the mundaneness of touring cars was part of the appeal, it's win on Sunday, sell on Monday for the adults and getting to cheer on whatever their dad drives to work with for the kids
Plus it's a fact that they pretty consistently deliver great racing but that's more down to the regulations than the specific cars I guess

TLDR: touring cars not bad! touring cars good methinks

And price wise, I was talking relative to rF2, it's fairly good value relatively speaking when say for instance, the BTCC pack (which is now outdated, mind you, with half the content that's actually on offer) costs £21
Obviously objectively speaking it's not that good of value but that's just rF2's nature, it's always been the most expensive non-iRacing sim and that's just what we have to live with

And still pricey imo, like any other Rf2 dlc...

I think I will wait until 2028 when they finally release all of their BTCC content and then purchase that pack for $110 on sale...

The point is this drip release policy is going to baloon the overall cost of the full BTCC season (cars+tracks) to some outrageous value compared to selling them as a single game/sim. I honestly don't like that kind of policy from MSG/RF2

I like the part where they release content that was never spoiled, instead of never releasing content that was spoiled.

EDIT: Okay never mind, they definitely should have done a Reiza and stuck these cars back in the oven.

This would be a good opportunity for Renato to drop the dev update now shortly after the rF2 update imo.

Edit: as long as it is "better" than the rF2 update

To be fair Reiza likes to combine both.

v1.4 will be no exception for sure. Once people have it in their hands they will be happy and forget all the time they had to wait...

I think the monthly updates are like drugs to our brains if we get it we have a rush of serotonin and excitement but If we don't we have withdrawals

But then you would have so little time to play as well and wouldn't run out of new stuff from last update.
I'm living the same scenario and haven't even had a chance to check out latest Argentinian tracks. I really wanted to try them but still drove some other combos and (un)fortunately stumbled onto some f1 skins/seasons on RaceDepartment.

They're great tracks. The different layouts work for a wide range of car classes too. Hope you enjoy them when you get around to it. :)
