it’s a another page of the hud . telemetry Display.
assign a button to change hud view and then flick through.
For some reason the actual order of the numbers can be misleading. where damping and fx in each other’s spot .

HUD toggle, and you can also Cycle telemetry HUD to get just the widget without the tire data. Just assign those functions to some buttons or keys.

And Yeah, DMP and FX values are swapped like Kuku said.

I have a ThrustMaster TS-PC Racer Ferrari 488 Edition wheel. Could someone with a similar setup please share their custom FFB settings file for me to try out and see the difference? Thanks in advance for any and all help provided.

I have a TS-TX base and a 599 rim, I use Danielkart v44 without any additional tweaks to the file. In game settings are 75/20/35/10 and then I fine tune ffb gain per car.

This is a file from the second page of this post. If you save it into your automobilista 2 folder under my documents it will overwrite the one that's in there

Then in game you can chose to use the custom file in the force feedback settings

The order of the In game FFB menu is Gain / LFB / FX / Damping, but the FFB widget in the HUD shows the settings of Gain / Damping / LFB / FX. Hope this will be fixed.

First post here but I read this and had an interesting thought - other sims that are reasonably well regarded (ACC, iRacing off the top of my head) just try to emulate the steering rack forces rather than adding FX to give extra information through the FFB. I had a go with the 'default' custom FFB file and actually quite liked it, but noticed it had a couple of issues. The main issue being that no matter what gain settings you use it clips at 70% output.

After some digging around online trying to work out how to fix it myself I've simplified/cleaned up the code and removed the clipping issue, and I think it actually works pretty well. I also came across a good resource going through some of the variables and syntax used in the custom FFB files (I think it actually relates to PC2 but it seems to work), so I've attached that here too.

I'd be interested to know if anyone prefers this 'raw' FFB to the default and other custom profiles - to me it feels more familiar as someone who's come from playing other games that approach the FFB in the same way. I would add for anyone testing it that the gain has to be adjusted pretty drastically between cars, and the only other slider that does anything is the low force boost.
