    No matter how I configure the series settings or the tracks I use (The tracks I use have the default set to a standing start) it always starts the race and a fast rolling start. Not even just a normal rolling start.
    So my question is, is it a bug or am I doing something wrong. Its not game breaking or anything, Id just prefer to be able to customize my championships.

    It was the same in GSC, but there is a way round it, if it still works in AMS (no reason why it shouldn't, I think):

    Create your championship, but DO NOT start it.

    When you have created it, exit the game completely, and go into the userdata folder. You now need to find the CCH file that was just created.

    When you've found it, open it with notepad, and scroll down to [CAREERSEASON]

    and change

    RACECOND_formation=4

    to

    RACECOND_formation=0

    Save the file and your championship races should now start with a standing start.

    That solution works in AMS as well, Keith. I have tried it succesfully.

    Thanks for sharing the information, keith.
    The solution works fine here in AMS, too. :)

    I read Renato's post that Super Truck is designed to use Standing Start. So, I think the dev plans to add Standing Start option in the future update. I'd like to use this way until then. :)

    Ohh cheers dude. This helped heaps. Going for bit of a bigger stretch now. Do you know how to get the top 10 Quali? I can get extra races and extra practices in championships. Im assuming though by the looks of it the ISIMotor chooses the previous race results as basically the quali for the next race.

    Well if you go into the Automobilista folder and go to the series folder and find the series you want to edit, you are meant to be able to change the type of start there but Rieza must have done something to the ISIMotor engine and it wont change from that file. (Which is how you would change it in rF1)

    Thanks for your reply, AZA1498.
    Yes, it is one of the rF1's basics. And as you said, the dev is constantly updating the base engine.
    In this case, I'm talking about adding "Type of Start" option in this menu. But it is just one example. I think the dev knows the best solution to this. :)

    Thanks very much for this. I severely dislike the rolling start and this is a great fix.

    Missing championship options will be added in time for release.

    Not a fan of rolling starts either, they should be kept for NASCAR and endurance racing ;)

    ...and Indycar (which I'm REALLY hoping this Texas race will get rolling here pretty quickly from this rain delay)! :D
