    Hi guys, a nice and kind RD forum user called Kenken developed a new HUD for AMS called EvoHUD. Based on Squirrel code, it is a light and full customizable HUD for AMS.
    Right now Kenken released a beta of it and we are looking for some feedbacks.
    Here the link: evoHUD
    If you like it or want to leave your feedback please do it in the mod section on Race Department so we can track your thoughts, idea and requests.
    Thanks!

    New release:
    "Here is new beta.

    This is beta version. Please report anything odd behavior.

    About delta bar widget:
    The fps might drop since no performance tuning is done.
    The time resolution is about 3ms since telemetry data update frequency is 360Hz.
    It should be enough for this purpose and I hope no one complain about it.

    The brief changelog since beta 1:
    added delta bar widget."

    Download link on RD, we need your feedback!

    Updated Readme, there was an error on Install steps!

    Installation
    1. copy d3d9.dll and evoHUD.nut to game root folder.
    2. copy evoHUD.dll and evoHUD folder to plugins folder.
    Work with other graphical plugin
    Before installation (IMPORTANT)

    1. rename d3d9.dll to something like d3d9_orig.dll.
    2. copy evoHUD.ini to game root folder and edit it.
    from
    OriginalD3D9DLL = d3d9.dll

    to
    OriginalD3D9DLL = d3d9_orig.dll

    Wip pic (Pitboard)

    I've tried it out and it looks very very impressive. Can't say if it's lighter on my system than DynHud, since I run a pretty slimmed down DynHud which gives me no troubles. Obviously customising it is non-trivial compared to DynHud, but the default layout is pretty good and the nut file is pretty self explanatory.

    My only concern with EvoHud is the colours in the tyre temp widget. What does the colour gradient actually represent? Temperature across the tyre? A bit confusing. I can't look at it and tell at a glance what the tyre temps actually are.

    Basically yes, you are right. Can you please give your feedback on RD too (if you are there)?
    I am not the author, kenken is, I am just trying to help him developing it further ;)

    Hello!
    Do have any way to view changes made to widgets without restarting AMS?

    The default key of script reload is Alt-G. It can be changed by using setReloadKey in evoHUD.nut.

    THANKS for keeping us informed here! I'll give it a try!
    I guess we'll need to look for alternatives!

    How is it compared to DynHud? I couldn't use that or any variants of it because it was really resource hungry and i lost way too many frames, but Native hud is very restricted. I'll try when i'm next free.
