Yes Yes Yes!!!!! I love this car...its a shame that nobody runs with it. But I 'm just in, if this champ is made for hardcore simracers . Without any kind of assists , including clutch.
Hi Rodrigo, do you know some other folks that would join us here? I completely agree with you, no assists, just the crude Vee with all it's fun, the way even some AI can't handle. I'll try to get some more friends aboard and will post here any news. Cheers.
Hi TDS, that's great! What's your timezone? We'll set the racing times ourselves, so I think we can pick sometime that will fit everyone (hopefully). Cheers.
Clutch/blip assist is the only assist you should never deny people. Deny them the auto lift fine, but really there's a whole universe of players with only 2 pedals. No need to be a snob.
Formula Vee is the reason I bought AMS, and the reason I'm only driving this car, while ignoring other sims. So timezone allowed, count me in of anything Vee related.
Pending race day and timezone, I might be interested to. So how about collecting some target audience data regarding those rather major details to get things started: Race Day Poll: LINK Timezone Poll: LINK (multiple answers possible in both)
I think.. correct me if I'm wrong, Brits and/or time.. scientists? Is that a thing? Anyway: I think it's the same, it's just that GMT is regarded as a timezone while formerly used as a standard for other timezones, a role which is now fulfilled by UTC, which is not a timezone on its own but merely an orientation for all other timezones.
LOL, I looked at the vote page for time and I'm totally confused by how the times are listed. I want to vote 18:00 GMT
Ah right, I didn't quite include something regarding an actual event time, did I? I guess for these first evaluation we should be looking at something 18:00-20:00 in whatever timezone you're voting for?
I assume we're all waiting for the main realease. In the waiting, I have a suggestion: as Formula Vee seems quite popular in Australia, they have a championship there, and as our lord and saviour Patrick Giranthon has created some australian tracks, we could make a league with those tracks. Maybe in the meantime a Philipp Island convertion will appear, so we'll have everything we need.
The Vee's are popular worldwide; you don't need a massive bank balance to have your own car and race it. In a sim' they are usually the most fun cars and are a challenge to drive on a lot of tracks.
