I see there's a update 1.4.9 coming soon for AMS, anyone know for sure if it will fix this issue ?

No as this issue is in Windows 10 / D3D and/or NVIDIA drivers. So you have to use NVIDIA Inspector and set the AA compat flags.

Ok, using Nvidia 388.13 drivers currently, with Win 10 Fall update, can get AMS looking good with the Compat setting C1 Diablo III in Inspector, but have stuttering, maybe update to 388.31 help the stuttering go away ?

Well Nvidia driver 388.31 doesn't make the stuttering go away, no matter the setting

I just upgraded to gtx 1080(v.388.13)and everything was good/smooth last week. I played today and I have suttter/lag on every cornering on any track. Where do you activate the 'smoothing options?
edit: I rolled back to previous win10 update.

I didn't try all of it and just use 4412C1. Everything looks good and driving on straights is great but it's just driving on 'every corner' that I have minor stutter/lag that you would really notice. But as soon as I get out of the corner it's smooth again.

Yes, into every corner there's a stutter, straights are fine.

There's a new Windows FCU update (build 16299.98) listing this fix:

"Addressed a performance regression when users run full-screen Microsoft DirectX 9 games and applications."

Although I did not observe this issue on my system, it may help someone.

And for the NVIDIA AA issue, I could test that both the latest FCU build (16299.98) and latest NVIDIA drivers 388.43 still require to set the "Antialiasing compatibility" flags (I use 0x40 these days).

Since AMS 1.49 everything is runing fine for me. AA working well (no NVIDIA Inspector needed) in fullscreen-mode.
    Running NVIDIA GTX970 (v.388.31), Win 10 FCU

Interesting, I still have the issue. Are you using any special setting (like full screen optimalizations disabled, game mode turned off/on...etc.)?

I had the same problems as you with 1.48, no AA at all in fullscreen-mode. 1.49 all is fine, no special settings, only game mode on.

It is turned off here (but switching it back on makes no difference).

The funny thing is, if you enable game mode and try to capture your gameplay, Windows will take away the resources even from the recording software so the end result will be full of huge stutters.:D

W10's game mode is useless as far as I can tell, it disables good stuff like Shadowplay but still lets all sorts of background apps run.
Best thing to do imo is to leave game mode off and disable all useless stuff manually (background apps, startup apps, Cortana, Superfetch, etc).

At the weekend, the Windows 10 Creators Update broke the anti-aliasing in my Beta version. Thank you to @bobbie424242 for finding a workaround. However, the AA isn't as sharp as it was. On Friday, I raced the AJR at Spielberg and marvelled at just how good the game looked. It is so frustrating to have this AA problem happen now through no fault of Reiza's.

    Here's hoping Windows/Nvidia issue a solution soon.

Try the options with Q instead of MSAA. I found the latter to be very blurry with SGSS.

8xQ + 4xSGSS (the max AA Nvidia setting in AMS config) should be as good looking as it was before FCU.
I use 0x40 for the AA compat flag these days so you may want to try that.
