why its causes really bad fps drops an capable machines. I can run every sim I have at ultra at a solid 60 fps. In rre that can also be with more than 20 cars. Why oh why in AMS max shadows cripples the card? Its so frustrating to have almost flat shadows to run this game smooth. I mean that anything you go under be it a bridge does not cast a shadow (on high does on max) on the cars. Please Reiza... the guys that did the nice new shaders can they please sort these shadows out once and for all. please ..
From the man least knowledgeable on the graphics front.. The engine just isn't good at shadows, but doing that new / better / properly is a very considerable task which is unlikely to happen soon.
Are you sure it is the shadow settings? I run shadow at max, only at the start (Kansai 20 Boxers) i got a drop to about 60fps, the rest of the race its around 100fps
