My girl has bought an iMac. On my PC i skin with Gimp and i save PSD to DDS with Paint. But paint is not available for the iMac. Gimp has a DDS plugin but that does not work. Has anybody a solution other than a CS version (which is too expensive for just skinning)?

You dont have to excuse yourself;). It is just that the iMac has a retina display which is bloody awesome. But i can skin on my PC so there is no big problem. Just wondering.

I have Mac to. Just install Win via Bootcamp to use it like PC. Then you can run Paint and Automobilista :)
nVidia DDS plugins will not work with Mac version of PS. I'm find only one solution - Graphic Converter. But sometimes have problem with it, some bugs with alpha channel in the DDS file after save to it
