Hello AMS racers! I race with one of these crosskart buggy (kart cross, car cross, sprintcar, cross car) in Czech Championship, where everybody has the same suspension, chassis, fuel, tires, roll cage but different stock 600cc engine with stock gearbox. We race on dirt or rallycross circuits. This CUP is not so expensive and you can have a weekend full of racing, action and "drifting orgasm" Similar buggy is in AMS but with different engine, gear ratio. I know, that AMS physics are just great, so please, when can we see these Kart Cross buggies in AMS? Video: I had to participate in two races during one weekend: Kartcross in Nová Paka + 24 hour kart race in Prague during night. Everything went unexpectedly well and we survived! (Never again)
The season has finally started in czech republic and we had first testing session. I tried to measure the speed and g-forces with GoPro 5
Video from my racing day! During morning I was testing my Kartcross buggy and afternoon racing in Virtual GP on Assetto Corsa.
How much does one of those things cost? About how much does it cost to operate in a race weekend? Also, is that a sequential or h-gate?
New buggy in Czech Republic costs about $17400, used one about $11000. When you have a trailer, place to sleep, racing equipment, fuel, (all spare parts has promotor which is on every race), one race costs about $500 If you don´t damage something. We must use stock 600cc engines with stock gearbox. So sequential, without reverse.
This was a real carnage, final run was repeated 4 times, many crashes, fist fight, but we managed to win again and I don´t know how
I hope that the new Rallycross Karts will be fun to drive and make sense according to the real ones. Here is my last video from testing for the European Autocross Championship
Following your topic and also adding my suggestion. Since ams2 has its foundations on Brazilian hosted series, it would be a great to see the Brazilian kart cross version equipped with 135/180/200cc 2 stroke or 250cc 4 stroke engines.
