@DaVeX It's still basically a traditional single screen 2D experience. As FeltHat says it is head tracked within the environment but the screen is still just a screen like it would be with a monitor or tv. I find the tracking handy as I can mirror my second screen with TS and forums etc off to the side but how useful that might be for you I'm not sure.

I had hoped there would be some method to snap two screens inside it so I could set up surround across the two desktop monitors and mirror the whole thing but there's no snapping. I'm still tempted to give it a go but thing it might be a bit awkward to get them aligned and sized equally.

Yes I have put the VR away for now also so I can enjoy AMS! Purchased a Samsung 43 inch ultra widescreen and mounted it (upside down) between steering wheel and wheel base. Absolutely fantastic. I really never new how nice AMS looks. Just finished my 1st real race with it, best sim race I've had in years.

@Renato Simioni so...you hinted a roadmap update would come after rF2 bundle release...
We would like to know what is happening, which "late" offer you guys received while looking for game engines, etc etc...
We don't care about game pics or sorta, we know it is still wip but at least let the hype train start, tell us something!!!
    Please :D

From my side i feel that these Reiza guys have gave us for free so much content, no need for more dlcs , if i were them i will only focus on the AMS 2 :D . Only my opinion but i accept all the "disagrees" that will come LOL

Surprised no has mentioned the Studio 397 interview on Davey Jones channel.

Although Reiza have discussed licensing the rF2 engine with them, they haven't done so (so far).

i will really prefer that reiza would use other engine , not the rf2 one , but in case that they will chose it i know they will do something better than S397 :D , but i could be wrong :p

Or at least i hope that they will be a bit "quicker" (only a bit) in the development process compared with the time that is using S397 with rf2.

Even if I think it's not up to s397 to reveal something during a podcast regarding Reizas new project.
I personally think decision was made a long time ago.

I just hope it's not the UE4-engine. It doesn't appeal to me.

I can only hope it's the UE4, the best of the best engine today.

It only has for limitation the human imagination, Imagine the level of damage about the cars, unbelievable !
The rFactor 2 engine, we know what it is, a bug fest engine, started by ISI, followed by s397, with good points but with many many issues....and the rF2 engine limits have already been reached since long time...
The UE4 can do far far far far better than the rF2 engine in EVERY parts, the car physiscs can be far far far far far better if it's well implemented.
When you say the UE4 doesn't appeal to you, ok, but what do you want, the UE4 is the best of the best.
You appear to be an old man with a limited and a poor projection, who refuses the evolution :), who always claims 'before it was better'....
The rF2 engine has, to be fair, about 1% of the the UE4 possibilites and capacities...

Please not UE4, looks good? Yeah sure! Is it good for simracing? Hell no!
ACC is facing a lot of issues and Kunos is supported by Unreal Devs, no triple monitor setup, no trackir, heavier on CPU than GPU (and you need CPU to be free for phisycs), etc etc.
The best solution for simracing right now is the Lumberjack engine also knew as Cryengine...and to be honest it works damn good (very capable and scalable).
