After selecting the latest beta in AMS, I find that my actual steering wheel is pulling hard from the centered position. If the wheel is moved slightly to the left or right of center, it will continue to rotate toward the stop. I have to 'fight' to keep the wheel centered.
It sounds like your forcefeedback setting is inverted. In the control settings check the forcefeedback strength slider and set it to the opposite of what it is currently. For example if it's currently set at +80% set it to -80% and see how it is.
