2nd that, I'm currently using the AMS recommended settings from Fanatec's forum, and leaving the settings in game as default.

I needed to remap all my button assignments (Maclaren GT3 wheel) and re-assign throttle/brake/clutch in order to be able to use independently connected pedals and calibrate them

Here are my favorite settings so far. BETA8
See this as a starting point to tune to your needs your fanatec wheel.

with no (till now) official statement from fanatec or Reiza lets use fanatec recommended wheel setting for AMS1.
I use for AMS2 FF 30. to find out what you like, work from here up or down.

(Link: Automobilista (PC) - Fanatec Recommended Settings)
Podium Wheel Base DD1 / Podium Racing Wheel F1® PS4™
    Tuning Menu Settings:
    SEN AUT
    FF 30
    SHO 100
    ABS User Preference
    FOR 100
    SPR 100*
    DPR 100*
    NDP 25
    NFR 5
    BRF User Preference
    FEI 100
*SPR and DPR values have no effect.

    AMS2 ingame settings:

    Flavour: DEFAULT
    Gain: 40-65 (car dependent)
    Low force boost: 0
    FX: 0
    Menu spring strength: 0

GAIN, Related to your fanatec FF settings, in this case FF 30, the main force, and the main key.
Car dependent. If you run quickly in Area 100 rise up fanatec FF strength.

LOW FORCE BOOST is more like „weight“ between the deadzone, but there is more going on. I would guess this is more for gear and belt driven wheels.
I tested from defauft 50 to 0, and after liking even 50 I ended right now to 0.
I have the impression that while even very low number does help with identify understeering, just 0 give me a better understanding of whats going on at all areas and a better overall feeling.

"FX" FFB effects - no longer adds "fake" road noise after porting over AMS1 surface noise code - FX now adds engine vibe (modelled from crankshaft angular rotation) and tyre scrub (as an actual frequency coming from STM)

I hope this will be a good starting point for some.
i will keep this posting up to date.

Anyone else got any ffb settings to try for podium dd2? Interesting that the steering input isn't detected unless I'm in csw 2.5 mode and tbh I cant get a nice feel at all although to be fair I've only had 5 mins playing with ffb. And still have no idea what nin, int, and nfr settings to use. Any help would be appreciated

hm, thats strange. The DD1 do not need the cws2.5 mode, so why would the DD2 need one? Which preset did you select ingame? There should also be a DD2 one.

Ok swapped my rim and now seems to work on dd2 mode was using the original f1 rim one same as carbon but without the carbon wrap so maybe v1? Anyway swapped for my bmw gt3 rim and now managed to calibrate and run on dd2 mode. Just need to fiddle with ffb

With these exact settings you are getting oscillations? Hmmm

Increase the NFR and/or INT settings. I usually run NFR off but it can help curb the oscillating

I'm having similar issues with my dd2 with the formula v3 rim, you select it, it calibrates and then the steering is off like crazy. I hooked up my t500 and it was fine. also, the pedals click off on calibration. and i have to go back to assign them. Its very weird

I have a DD1 and heusinkveld sprint pedals and have had no issues setting them up or calibrating them.
It seems to be a very random issue people are having.

    Attached DD1 profile I use for AMS2.
I use the same ingame setting for all cars:

    76/30/50

With LFB 0 I feel like you lose too many details in the center. Only thing I edit in custom file is the scrub.

you are using an older drive / firmware on your DD1 so its different for me.
I am using 356 version that as a lot of improvements and a much better feel.

but also a lot of bugs, I tested it briefly and when set it up the way I like there was almost no difference and id rather not risk all the issues being reported and acknowledged.
