Game will not properly recognize wheel inputs to assign steer left and right. It always says multiple inputs detected. I had this issue with project cars 2 as well for a while.

    Game recognizes all other inputs.

Need an ability to manually assign inputs without using steering (i.e. text file).

Close the game and try again. Sometimes it doesn't see it the first time around.

Make sure you are turning the wheel fully either way.....full lock. Im using 1080 so need to turn quie a bit. Just 360 or 540 dor is not enoug!! :)

What lock are you using? 900?

Django did you have any luck?
It recognizes none of my inputs from the wheel, buttons or wheel.
Let me know what you have done.
    Cheers

That is quite odd as there are plenty of us accuforce wheels users that have no issue with recognising the wheel. Right out of the box selected custom separate wheel & pedals then straight to the calibration process. I am using 901 rotation. The simexperience plugin also works.

it's the same as in pcars 2
when assign p.e. turn left, turn the wheel left max out and turn back, don't keep the wheel max turn out left

diknmuis: This is the correct fix, thank you

Reiza: It's solved. However, you can only do wheel direction at a time, restart the game, and do the other direction. The wheel physically locks its FFB after confirming a wheel direction assignment.

That's odd - I was able to do left and right, in that order - you have to be sure to let the wheel go as soon as it reaches its limit.

I never had this problem b4 I had AMS2 - it's as if it has corrupted a file/s somewhere, as it then caused PC2 to have the same fault - never tried any other sims, but, THIS WORKS. Thanks, Dinknmuis. :)

I’m having the same problem with Accuforce V2. Will not detect Left or Right wheel rotation. Errors with Multiple Inputs Detected.
I tried all above numerous times. I have the same problem with PC2 and could never fix it. Hope there is a fix for this?

For my accuforce the non detection issue happened if the base wheel setting is more than 900 degrees. When detecting the wheel I needed to make sure I did not go past the 450 degree left or right rotation points. The game detects the wheel axis the moment the left axis begins to return to the right after reaching the maximum left rotation and the same for the right axis. The moment I exceed the maximum rotation point I get the multiple input message.

I just had the same issue with axis detection after refreshing player files. Setting the pedal axis first did the trick for me.

No, I’m not sure what that is. I’ll look.
    Thanks
