Does anyone have some decent Fanatec DD2 settings for AMS2 yet? It seems like if i leave gain at 100 in game i have to lower the fanatec drivers to around 15 to be usable but i dont feel as much if the finer details

You should always reduce the FF in game not hardware. I had to reduce gain to about 55 to not get any clipping on my CSW 2.5. Keep the DD2 at 100.

I'm usually going the fifty-fifty road in almost every sim.
I have set the FFB strength on my DD2 to 50. And in AMS2 i have set FFB gain to about 50. And just a few percent more or less depending on the car. (e.g. the FFB on the Stockcars is quite strong).

With Gain of about 50 (plus/minus 10-15) the chance for FFB software clipping is almost non-existant.

How did you get fanalab to detect AMS 2? I can cant see it in the list of games. I am on 1.12 version of fanalab.

Fanalab didnt detect AMS2. If you look in the top left corner, there is no game showing there. He's just using the 4th profile as his AMS2 profile to make the changes.

hi and thanks for the settings... may I ask how you got AMS2 to recognize your dd2? I have Sprint pedals, so I'm trying the only Fanatec dd2 profile in the settings, separate pedals, but when I try to calibrate the wheel I get nothing. also, when I try to assign the wheel to steering it's not recognized... I really don't know what else to try.. I've read through this forum and the portuguese (google translate), but can't seem to pinpoint a solution...

    Thanks!

i used “CUSTOM” and it works. If it doesnt calibrate, restart the game.

It doesnt matter either way 100 and 15% on the driver or vice versa in game, it feels similar. Small details arent there like they should be

    Nevermind.. I just got it!!

FIRST assign the controls THEN calibrate... it sounds counter intuitive....

Now I'm trying to figure out why the shifters are assigned and don't work.. all of the other buttons on the wheel work...

    THANKS!!

Yes thats correct. I had the same problem with the shifters not working, but it was because i was using Fanatec DD2 with formula V2 rim (i have a custom wheel on it). If it doesn't match exactly the wheel option, switch to Custom - it will work perfectly fine.

I made a profile in fanalab but for some reason when I load it it says that it is an AC profile. Has anyone been able to get the display to show anything other than the gear it is in?
