Do Sprint Race race during rain? If I am right the headlights are fake-decals, so it would be totally insane to race during rain cause you cannot see the car ahead of you.

Perhaps it is an idea to add parameters for non-headlights cars, so the player can't select wet weather and random won't pick wet either.

(Had the most crazy race ever. 1 spin, 1 bodycheck that resulted into a another spin, then the track became dry, so everyone pitted, so I did pit too. 24th to 10th. :p)

If they have wet tyres as an option they probably do. Do headlights really help you see through spray? I'm not sure they do, though they will help to see whats behind you in your mirrors. F1 certainly race in the rain and they have no headlights.

In this race IRL though they appear to have LED strips on the tail light stickers

Now that would be a cool feature for rain events.

0:50s in and pause, just typical LED strips :)

Well then.. We need leds with supertape during rain then. Front and rear, because rain without lights is deadly. Remember that crash at Donington with that 15 year old boy?

Some race cars have red rear rain lights and/or brake lights that do not have headlights. However, in the restart section, in the spray, none were on. In a different video, I saw a Sprintcar mounted with a rack of rally-style headlights for a night race.

But this video was insightful for a more important reason--we need Sebring!!!! This is the excuse to move it up the queue ;) I think they also did a US race at Homestead one year, but forget that unless we already have Sebring :)

Indeed, was exactly what I thought when I found it.
Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta would be good, nice pack right there :)

Yesterday I have tried the new update, but my amazement has been that the simulator works poorly, yesterday I felt like the car was making me out of normal planes, even if I stopped braking, I was still making planes, when I accelerate there are moments that lose strength as if not accelerate in some parts of the circuit it is as if the car is stopping as it seems to be stopped.

After seeing this happening, I tried other AC, ACC, Rfactor 2, RBR and in none of them did I feel the pedal stop accelerating, I only felt it in the Automovilista 2,

    I have Fanatec V2 pedals and a Trushtmaster TR300.

Well, headlights and taillights do help. Also in real life just when driving normal they help a lot during rain, sprays, fog and even snow. I was racing the Caterham in Foggy Rain yesterday too and I had really trouble to see where they were and when they did brake. It's really really dangerous without beams and taillights.

I can finally use proper trail braking after this update...nomore lockups when stomping the Loadcell Brake :) ...just coming back after a sweaty P3/SprintRace Race at Ibarra...im completely in Love :)

Also: Is it Normal that the 80s 90s F1 Cars steer so light when not under cornering and gets really heavy when going threw corner? Do those F1 Cars really drive like that?

    Little question: offline races.
The AI is damn fast, even @ 30% or the AI strenght slider has no effect?
Tried two races with Formula vee and Super V8 @Interlagos with rain in the middle and the AI was a "monster". :):)

Is it possible that you are feeling the downforce increase as you go faster? Or maybe it is a ffb setting like lfb?

@Dagon94 yes to both. The forces have to be lighter to start so you can feel the aero down force load up at higher speeds. But, if the difference is extreme, then you likely need to adjust your LFB balance versus Gain. Check out some of the discussions from people who have your wheel or follow the Fanatec recommended settings.
