I think it's expected to see changes in car perfomance as tires and such gets tweaked throughout early access and maybe even beyond.

As with real life racing, times only matter on the day.

Also very true. I've been with the same team, same car, same driver on different days and seen laptimes differ over a second.

Well it matters for single player. If AI is not equally adjusted you need to keep playing with the difficulty slider, but of course this is expected during EA.

yeah defo 1 second slower. i label my times set in my setup so i know what time was set using said setup.

i have howver notice a weather bug - chnaging from light cloud to meium cloud not working and thus track and air temps not changing and staying at light cloud conditions..so not sure if that is affecting lap times also??

Though relative to AI (not to personal times), do you guys notice AI braking much later than the driver can?

I'm definitely slower on that particular track with new FFB and a delete/reinstall of the game, unless I'm just not yet properly used to the new FFB. As far as A.I braking later, very track dependant, in 'most' cases I'd say, most definitely.
