my game is always crashing, when i am in the menus or when i am loading a new track or car... Then the pc just stops the game and go back to the desktop i got this problem also with pcars 2 . so i think its a engine that my pc dont likes... my pc specs are : intel i7 5820K - 16 gb DDR4 gigabyte x99 UD4 motherboard msi gtx 1080ti can i send maybe the crash logs and where are they located ?? Are you running with the latest nVidia drivers ? The latest 2 cause the same issues for me, roll back to ver 442.59 and no freezes and crashes anymore
I have a lot of crashes or freezes during races. I will try to use the suggested NVidia drivers 442.59 and will report. EDIT: Nope, nothing better with 442.59 drivers. Tt still crashing after a while, E.g. the second lap when trying Time Trial. Screen freeze. I will try to add the -sse2 launching option to see if it's AVX instructions the problem like suggested in other thread.

Nothing better with the -sse2 option added, removed. Still crash, sending a report hoping devs check those dump files (probably receiving lot of them).
I made lot of tests yesterday, it seems the problem come from my overclock of the GTX1080. I was able to race all evening without the usual crashes happening several times per hours. With the OC the CG went more than 90 degrees. Weird is with stress tool (Furmark) I'm able to stay at 100% GPU usage during more than an hour (the longest test I did) at 92 degrees and no problem. But in game I'm crashing. Not 100% sure it's the problem, I'll keep playing without OC the CG for a while to confirm. Not a big deal, it was a small increase, not really needed to keep my 90 fps.
mine used to crash since release, ask help but devs dont care, then 2 update later work ok until the may 16 update, once again ctd, dont know if its my rtx faulty or the game, cuz assetto corsa also ctd, the only one never fails its acc where are the devs
Mine don't crash anymore. You should post a report here as the Devs can check it : Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post) Also, send your Dump file if it crash and open the bug report window, describing what you were doing at that moment...
If you're crashing and have an overclock, the first thing to do is to drop that OC and try if it works then.
How can you get a refund on the money you gave them for being a backer? I'm just gonna assume you're joking at this point.
