Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

Report: With the latest update, I suddenly have ZERO Player Engine Sound. All other sounds are normal. PCars2 runs normally, so it is not a problem with my sound system. I verified the AMS2 files through STEAM. All the audio settings within the game have been checked and re-checked. Never had a problem of any kind previously!

Problem Resolved!!! I don't know why, but the sound is back to normal. Please excuse...

Report: Game still crashes when starting replay.
Steps to reproduce: drive a couple laps, hit ESC, click on the replay button. Bug is present since the first version.

Report: Since the last update the P4 MCR S2000 car sounds are not good, they are crackling(like background sound when listening on vinyl disks).

Report: after few laps middle temp. of tires are extremly high, tire pressure rises and car looses grip. Problem even with the lowest available tire pressure
Steps to reproduce: drive 1 or 2 laps and look on tire temp

Tack: Kanzai GP
Car: Super V8
Applicable settings: Time trial, T300RS, Gain 60, LFB 80, FX 90,
Thrustmaster control panel: degrees set to 180 calibrated in game, Overall strength set to 75% Constant 100%, Periodic 100%, Spring 100%, Damper 0% Autocentre set to by the game.
Report: Apparent drift in steering calibration, after a few laps (2-3) wheel becomes misaligned by a few degrees to the left, re-calibrated in game but issue remains, disconnected wheel and re-connected issue remains, quit game and restarted issue resolved but returns after a short time.
Steps to reproduce: T300RS seems this happens after heavy kerb impacts or airtime unsure exactly but noticeable on main straights.

Report: The 'needle' in the fuel gauge spins around clockwise and counter clockwise as soon as you hit the accelerator in motion.

 

Track/Car: Goiania and Fusca H2 (Probably all cars).
Report: The external camera needs a lot of work, showing barriers/random things a lot of the time.

1 - Playing online, sometimes randomly the server kick half of the drivers.
2 - If you don't press ready in the two minutes of Warm-up, it won't let you drive or start from the pits.

Report: No engine turbo sound until crossing the speed limit line in the pits.
Steps to reproduce: Drive the Ultima GTR Race in a Clear session and the turbo sound wont sound until you cross the speed limit line. I activated/deactivated pit speed limit on track and the turbo sounds exactly the same.

Car Used: Roco P3
Applicable Settings: Weather - Clear
Report: AI opponents cars are way faster than yours, no matter the opponent skill level you set.
Steps to reproduce: Drive the Roco P3 in a weather clear session and opponents will outperform you as soon as they pass over corners. It's almost impossible to pass them in straights, no matter you set the opponent skill level to 100 or 0.

Car Used: Seems to happen randomly in some cars but every time in Lancer RS
Applicable Settings: N/A
Report: Setup changes don't always seem to take effect, sometimes when going back to the setup menu they have reverted back. It seems to happen randomly in a lot of cars but happens every time you restart session in the faster Lancer I think.
Steps to reproduce: Change some setup settings like fuel or assist percentage, go on track then restart session and check them again. Tested in MP and TT.

Report: Flickering textures on houses, bloc of flats and walls.

Report : A bump with another car or a change of position between the last corner of a race and the finish line results in the game crashing. The results are posted for the top positions, the cars continue around the track on never ending cool down laps, but the screen is frozen and only Crtl/Alt/Delete gets you out of it. Any results or replays are lost.

 

Similar problems here. In some races something similar happened, when returning to the menu at the end of the races, the screen freezes and necessary Ctrl+Alt+Del - View/save replay options are lost.

Report: In a 20min race, problem of "thermal damage" with 12min of race completed, in other attempts, warning of "severe damage" when starting the race or even when starting the qualy.
