I have switched the spotter to "always on" in the game options but there is none during race. not implemented yet?
It was working in the first betas but the voice is disabled for now. I think there are major radio problems. The text chat is functioning but for this you have to enable the subtitles to read what he want's to say. Crew Chief does not work in test day, I don't know if CC needs an update or if there are no data shared in test day.
Do you need a spotter for something specific on the test day? There isnt anyone else around and lap times are on the screen.
Crew Chief is a great piece of software but I really prefer an AMS2 integrated solution so I hope it will arrive one day or the other...
a good spotter system needs hundreds of hours of menpower. And you need native speakers for recording. Mr Belowsky did a real good job over the years. It would be hard to do it better.
Crew Chief has consistently been better and more configurable than the default spotter in any game I’ve tried. I wouldn’t hold your breath for a better integrated version.
