The game will does not recognise any input from my Huesinkveld Ultimates. They do not register any inputs in the Edit Assignments tab or the Configuration tabs. I am running a Fanatec DD1 wheel base, but have tried setting this to custom as suggested in other threads. Still no inputs received from the pedals under Assignments. I have tried restarting the game numerous times as suggested in another thread. No joy. I have confirmed the pedal hardware is functioning correctly in DIView, ACC and Iracing. This after I also spent an hour trying to get triples to work until I found in another thread that you need to disconnect a 4th monitor for it to work. Honestly this seems more like an Alpha. I am about to refund and leave the appropriate feedback in Steam.
Strange. I have a DD2 with HE Sprint pedals and it works without any problems. Assigned the axis for throttle/brake/clutch and then made the pedal calibration. I wouldn't think of Ultimates working differently.
Does seem odd as I have a 4th monitor working OK? Sounds like something about your system. That doesn’t mean it’s not good just might help you find the problem if you haven’t refunded already?
I found the solution to the 4th monitor issue on this forum from someone else who had the same issue. I've wasted the afternoon trying to sort the pedal issue to no avail. Tried removing all other USB devices, tried plugging the pedals into every USB slot, tried all the different presets. No problem in any other software, I'm not here to trouble shoot shoddy programing. Refund requested and review left on Steam.
The problem might be on your side. I've no problems with HE Sprints as well. Used Custom Wheel? Have assigned the pedals in the edit assigenments-section? Have calibrated the pedals? Do you have tried running the exe in Admin mode? Deleted AMS 2-folder in mydocuments? Verified cache in Steam? Email Heusinkveld Support and ask them if Ultimates work in AMS 2 at the company there?
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've done all of the above and then some, been at it all afternoon. Sprints run on Smart Control, Ultimates do not and are different hardware altogether. The Ultimates run fine in ACC, iRacing, AC, PC2, DIview, every game / piece of software I own. This is the only one they do not.
Ah, man. I feel sorry for you. You also have emailed Heusinkveld? Well, I hope that in the future you can race AMS 2. Perhaps you can try AMS 1 it's also amazing. And cheap at the moment.
Lucky bugger. Reading through various forums seems like its a random issue people are getting with all sorts of pedals. Ill try again in a few months after some updates.
Not sure what it has to do with Pedals, HE or otherwise. The system just thinks it's another USB input.
Hi I got my Sprint pedals. I can use the sprints in ACC, but cannot assign throttle/brake in Automobilista 2. I tried various hints from google already. Base: CSW v2.5 AMS2 just doesnt assign the keys when under Edit assignments:Throttle/Brake and pressing the according pedals. - calibrated Pedals in SmartControl. - deleted / reset AMS 2 config folder + reset to factory settings. - AMS2: Pedal typ: separate - AMS2: Wheel: Custom With the CSL Elite LC pedals before it worked. Also mailed to Heusinkveld support 2 days ago but no reply yet. Any hints for me?
Heusinkveld Support helped me out, solution was to leave wheel base off when configuring the pedals ingame.
