For Instance, I think I read that the Formula Reiza car is supposed to be a copy of a 2012 Ferrari. I'd like to know what the other F cars are copies of, in particular which ones are the V8's from around 2010. Thanks!
There's only one V8 from around 2010, and that's the F-Reiza you already mentioned. I read somewhere it's suppoed to be the 2011 Red Bull, but who knows There have already been discussions about that back in the olden days of AMS1 Keep in mind the unlicenced F1 cars aren't usually exact copies of real cars, but more an approximation without a clear year or make. Some are closer the original, like the F-V12 resembles the Ferrari 412T2 relatively closely, others are more of a mishmash, like the F-V10 Gen2 that's from somewhere between a 2001-2003 Williams/BAR type thing. Look closely and you'll see that for example the models repeat for the F-Classic Gen1 and Gen2 cars. There is no official word by the devs of course, so I'll give you the years to the best of my knowledge and maybe you can find some resemblances to the real world Vintage Gen1 1697 Vintage Gen2 1969 Retro 1974 Classic Gen1 1986 Classic Gen2 1988/89 Classic Gen3 1991 V12 1995 V10 Gen1 1997 V10 Gen2 2001-ish Reiza 2011-ish Ultimate 2019 (but was originally 2017 in AMS1)
Someone discovered the Dome F105... and then I realized the V10G1M1 is a 1996 car... but you can definitely lump it in with the 97 cars for various reasons... Only reason I mention it is because the Dome F105 is a very obscure car, I would have never figured it out if someone else hadnt mentioned it. But it's a dead ringer for it... I hope we get the 86 Mclaren one day. It's a very unique looking car.
Good find with the Dome 105. I originally thought the F-V10 Gen1 was an amalgamation of several 1997 cars as seen below, but apart from the Tyrrell they all had those flaps in front of the sidepods so I was unsure but went with it since the McLaren MP4/12 is a 1997 car. It being a 1996 car makes more sense. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/60/b6/e9/60b6e97a3c5347285e069085689a4055.jpg
I also think the best fitting car for V10G1 is the Dome 105, that car which was never run a GP. It was constructed and tested in 1996 and planned for 1997 but never came to a run except testing. But the long overhanging nose, the sidepods, the cockpitpads, everything fits really good. First I thought it could be a 1996 Arrows but the nose doesn't fit. I always had the Dome in my mind but didn't know the right name of it and didn't find any pictures.
isn't it then a '97 car, when it was planned to run it '97 ? All other '97 cars were also constructed and testet '96 or earlier
