    Hi,
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I try to calibrate my Fanatec DD1 wheel it is way too hard to turn. I've calibrated the wheel before and it worked, but for some reason now it's just too stiff to even rotate once. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Check that you haven't changed your SEN settings somehow and also that you have your wheel centred (and not already a full turn to the left or right). You might be encountering the soft stop. It sounds ridiculous but I saw this happen with a friends DD2 - the SEN was all out of whack (on a low number, even though in the profile it looked correct - it was a conflict between fanalab and the main fanatec wheel software). Trying to turn the wheel to calibrate was impossibly hard because it was hitting the soft stop

Thanks for that. When you say SEN, is that the setting which is on AUTO for AMS2?

Is it just the menu-thingy set at 20 in the feedback section?

Hi, thanks. Not sure what you mean by the menu in the feedback section.

Under force feedback settings in the game there is a setting for the spring strength in the UI menus. I had the same, once you lower that to a very low value you should be able to turn the wheel to set it up

There's a Menu Spring setting in the FFB options in-game, try setting it to 0, it defaults to 20.

Thank you for that. I'll have to check that.
