Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

    Not the biggest issue, but annoying: Game chooses random liveries/drivers as AI for single races.

    Example: In Formula V10_Gen 2, there are 24 liveries available. So, I do races with 23 AI, expecting that all other drivers/liveries (except mine) would be part of the race, like it was in AMS 1. But the game chooses just any liveries randomly, which means that you see one a couple of times in race and others do not show up once.

    Applicable Settings: Championship (Race 1)
    Report: After crossing the finish line I started the Cooldown lap and then went in to the Pits, stopped at the Box and the game did not advance or reacted to pushing the buttons. I did ctrl-alt-delete to get to the window manager and it showed CPU usage was at 100%. I had to push the restart button on the computer to get out of the game. I then went back in to the game to check the Championship stats and that is what I found:

    I think this is a bug:

    Multi class race: custom grid position for race start doesn't work. Raced at Kyalami classic and chose grid slot nr 25, but was placed in grid slot 7.

    Also: choosing 'player last' only makes you last in your class, not last on the grid.

    I'd like to be able to start from the back.

    Report: Having set the AI difficulty to max of 120% (just to see what times they get) I noticed something. Initially, they lap around the (somewhat pedestrian) 1:43s. I then pressed the restart session by accident (as I am so used to doing in TT mode) but this time round, the AI was lapping around the 1:40 mark.
    I repeated this a second time (exiting the session completely before doing so) and the results were more or less the same - 1:43s initially, then after restarting the session, 1:40s. I restarted this second session a second time and the results were similar - 1:40s. That was until I pressed skip to end and the laptimes dipped into the 1:37s for the top 6 or so, with the rest of the field in the 1:38s. Any idea what's causing these big jumps in laptimes?

    Also, during this same period (using the same settings) I noticed two other bug-type occurrences:
    1. On their outlap, some of the AI take to the grass out of turn 2 (essentially the first corner they arrive at from leaving the pits) instead of taking the left hand flick of turn 3 as normal.
    2. Using the onboard and chase cams, there was no tyre screech audible from the AI cars as they negotiated corners like there is when a human driver takes the corners.

    Strange thing, with the Ginetta I can't reproduce this issue.
    In rain, track get wet with wet spots and spray.

    In free practice weather progressive was set to 'sync to race' instead 10x as I normaly use

    Please rework the TV Cams in replays. When you swith the camera to "Trackside", game is regularly showing forests and buildings instead of the cars on track.;)

    Report: After a 40 minutes racing in relatively high temperatures (30C and above on the track) tire degradation indicator in the HUD shows tire have almost no degradation from the start (less than 10% by eye) but the car clearly is not capable to drive the same way as it was at the beginning of the stint. In the long fast corners it clearly shows huge amount of additional understeer but HUD shows almost no wear. I did not see anything similar in other tracks with the same car (Bathurst for instance that I raced recently).

    The bouncing kart has the same problem that I have
    with FClassic G1M1, in my case I saw the rider's butt
    it comes out from under the car then crawls on the asphalt, in this way the wheels never touch the ground in a homogeneous way because the driver's seat rests on the track. I don't know if this is your case though, you should be able to look under the kart to be sure, I have a photo that proves it to me.

    The entire multiplayer is a bug... joguem fora e comecem novamente, because we can't even run a league on it.

    Anyway, I quit this game... dinheiro jogado fora. Pode banir essa conta se se sentiu ofendidinho, pq compro meus jogos para os jogar, não pra servir de beta tester pra produtora incapaz de fazer jogo.

    Report: On the settings page of this vehicle, the buttons used to increase and decrease the camber and a few other settings seem to be the wrong way round in that the increase button actually decreases the setting, and vice versa.

    Scrap this. An oversight on my part.

    Report: In replay, AI cars keep in start position (don't move!!) till reaching second corner myself. Suddenly all AI cars appear in right position and movement.
    This is really a bug I've never had seen in any game or sim before

    [Reason found, another "bug" prevent me from solving]
    Track & Layout Used
    : Any
    Car Used:Sprintrace
    Applicable Settings: Time-Trial or Quick race others not tested
    Report: Sprintrace cars doesn't recognize its setups anymore
    Steps to reproduce: I first noticed it after joining a multiplayer lobby
    Try to load a setup, gui just says "no setups available"
    I am able to save a setup and i can see it appears in my file system as a .vts file with the right time-stamp.
    The setups don't show in the gui for the Sprintrace class.
    Check local files didn't solve it,
    Beta has the same issue.

    EDT: it is saved-setups related, if i remove the setups i can save my Sprintcars setups, and read them back, as soon as i can save all my time-trial records i will delete the setups directory and re-download them from the time-trial records.
    Is it possible to delete only my Sprintcar setups?
