Yeah. It helps, but I would love to have a static cockpit, cause my real life wheel/cockpit doesn't move, but virtual does. Static cockpit with the benefits of the new camera. I don't know if that's possible, tho.

While, we have our own choice, don't we? BTW, neither ACC nor RF2 has this crazy shake in any view. With current AMS2 view shake, I'd rather go back to ACC:~

I agree with most....the shaking is way too much.
The frequency when off track is not right.
It is too high on some tracks and too low on others.
I also can't seem to get some cameras...especially at Donington Park to stay selected during replays.
    They automatically switch around.
The car keeps automatically driving out of the pit-box despite it being set to manual.
Other than that, the game is coming together fairly well.

The whole replay part needs a more or less complete reconstruction(IMO).
I think the worst issues is that you cannot move the replay "timeline" but have to watch a complete instant replay just to find a certain part of it - and another "gamekiller" is that if you want to watch as example a LB replay there is completely silence.
No sound so its impossible to hear as example shifting and throttle modulation.
Not much immersion watching a racing car in complete silence.

The motion sickness is a little better with the new update, but it's really distracting to see the chassis of your car bouncing while your wheel/cockpit doesn't. It ruins the whole "immersion" thing.

No other sim has a camera like this. Why is the Madness engine so "weird"?

I appreciate the attempt to make the camera better (and it is), but I hope the devs continue to work on it because it's still not "right."

Its a bit ironic that the mainly pCars2 replay system in AMS2 has a very natural vertical and sideways car movement when you watch the car it in Chase view.
Some of the competing race games have the camera 100% fixed to the car so the car dont move relative to camera.
Hehe this is one of the only positive things I can say about the AMS2 replay system in its current state:p

Same! It did it with Procar in Doninginton. Man.. I've never been so disconnected. Even got motionsickness and my driving was horrible. Had to return to Legacy + 0. .. That downhill S-section was horrible, lol. Felt like I was flying through whole the car while racing, lol.

What setting on the new scale felt like flying at Donny? I want to try it. Brands is my usual test track for small bumps/undulations.

Tried 0, 50, and 100. All made me like I am not wearing my seatbelt and was throwing around in the cockpit, lol. Procar + downhill S-section with no fear!!!! I think it's mostly cause my real life wheel + cockpit is static and the virtual cockpit is moving, so I feel disconnected.

Thanks for the update Reiza, I can finally drive without getting sick.
Still, the cockpit of the car bounces and jitters way too much - it doesn't induce motion sickness, but it's very distracting, at the least.
Again, it's most prominent on the high power open wheelers, although it's quite noticeable in all cars.
Can anything be done about that?

    Thanks in advance!

Forgot--are you using VR? None of those settings produces anything remotely close to what you are describing on my flat monitor. As far as I know, VR users should be using Legacy.

Maybe there is an issue at my end. The difference between 0 and 100 is not that large. Are you getting the "flying" feeling at all the settings you tried, or only at 0, which is where it should be most likely to do something like you describe?

I am just sensitive. Cockpit static. Virtual is moving. Results in being disconnected with the car. Feeling like ive to throw up

I didn't notice any difference with the new system. Still the cockpit shaking too much, or the track shaking too much (the worst for me). Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

But I understand the devs just started to change it. Also, the shaking annoys me only with fast open wheel cars. When driving other cars everything is ok to me.

Same here that's why I still can't drive the faster open wheelers nor play first person shooting games. My eyes can't take too much/many movements. So I'm back to using Legacy with HM=40-50 in closed cockpits.
I believe in Reiza team to continually fix these issues.

I use the legacy head movement settings as well.
My concern about this, is when a developer starts calling things legacy
it usually means they intend to get rid of it.
    I hope not.
I go off road touring with my 4X4 and don't bounce around as much
as these sim race cars do on a perfectly smooth track.

    Tried it yesterday.

cockpit view was okish because world not moving but the cabin shaking still too much
And since i drive bumper or bonner views most of the time well this update is useless to me unfortunately
