    Thrustmaster wheels.
    TS PC Racer / T 300 / T 500 / TMX

Anyone here with problems like steering lags or FFB problems?

There where such problems in Codemasters F1 series and Dirt series ,but they are from 2017 and were solved.Even in Project cars and Project cars 2.Mostly caused by user's...and wrong installation of drivers in Windows system. But as i said from 2017..We now have newer drivers and system updates.

Someone in Betaforum belives, that after he switched from a TS PC RACER to a DD wheel, his weird steering lag has improved.

    Original post:

    an additional theory.

I upgraded my TS-PC Racer 2 weeks ago to a DD-wheel and this weird lag between steering and car reaction has gone mostly. Interestingly i have now also on the flat monitor much fewer lag than before, now my laptimes on monitor vs VR come closer. Always thought its my big TV-screen causing this lag, but the longer i drive the DD, i assume the TS-PC was a big factor in the formula.END

So,where is the culprit here,if there is any?
    Hardware/Software/Drivers/Firmware?
Is it a conflict in the Madness engine with Thrustmaster FFB Drivers?
Is the game more designed for DD Wheels?
Cause i did not notice anything like that, but I'm a bad slow driver anyway...:D

So please report any anomalies here!
    Thank you!

Without knowing it my guess is that we are talking about input lag here.
And like a "normal" input lag its mainly caused by time lag in the monitor device between input and the reaction of this input displayed on the screen.
Your question about a special Thrustmaster issue could be more precisely revealed if the same(!) PC system first was tested with a Thrustmaster wheel and afterwards with a DD wheel.

Yes,that is what i, and with the help of other Thrustmaster Users or Ex Thrustmaster Users, who switched to a DD wheel, want to find out.
Has a Thrustmaster User worse laptimes than a DD user in general?
Is here someone with fast laptimes useing Thrustmaster wheels (TS PC /T500 and above) ?

In the Beta forum, someone said raising the steering sensivity should help/improve a little.
But how much.Seems really Madness engine related,as i have no problems in Gmotor or RaceRoom engine.

    @BrunoB
Not the general input lag.i mean the steering lag especially on TM wheels.

Make sure in performance settings you don't have “render frames ahead” set high.

Render frames ahead set to 0 on a Geforce 1080 TI should work?
    I had it on 1

Probably won't help much if it was already low. I've got a T300 wheel and don't see any lag with render frames ahead between 0 and 2, but higher it introduces noticeable latency. Likely a problem elsewhere in your settings.
