First part is done:
Formula_Vee Fantasy Livery Pack
Work in progress. Cetilar Racing
Cetilar is finished. Just 3 more to go.
Nice is it available anywhere to download?
Yes, very soon. maybe tomorrow.
I have one question for the community. this livery used to be a real world livery, but now is just red in game. why does that happen? i have all 15 slots now with real world livery.
File corruption, or bad export, or dds type error
ok. i checked the XML, i checked the dds files. and the others are all working. i also saved all skins properly. all other skins are working fine.
I have it fixed now, somehow magically the dds got 1 pixel too wide
Next Vee, two more to go to complete the fantasy pack:
Really looking forward to these, they all look great!
Wow!!!!!!!!!! I graduated from high school in '83 so this music is right down my alley. Great work. Here's one I made for AC right after Eddie Van Halen passed, my Rock hero:
Hey guys, I need some help, if you don't mind. When I'm making my window banners, I can't get rid of the wire frame. I hide the template layers when flattening the image, but the wire frame will not go away. I'm sure it's an easy fix, but I've not been able to solve it yet and have been unable to find a discussion that addresses it. Any help would be much appreciated.
Templates are 4096x6144 because this size is easier to edit.
Do all your work in a 4096x6144 environment and only at the very last, just before exporting it to the final dds file, resize the final image to 4096x4096.
in gimp you have to select the Image menu from the bar at the top and choose Scale Image...
remember to click the little chain symbol at the right of the Widht and Height boxes, as you dont' want to keep proportions when you resize but rather to turn a rectangular image into a square.
change Height box from 6144 to 4096 and then click the button Scale to confirm, then export this final 4096x4096 square to a dds file.
hope that it helps
