As the only AWD cars in AMS they're a unique drive and can be lots of fun. It seems though that they've been completely overlooked and have fallen behind the other cars in terms of QC
    • The tyre scrub sounds are incredibly loud relative to the engine, to the point where driving suffers because it's hard to differentiate between scrub and lockup noises when braking.
    • The interior audio is very thin and weak. The AMS Lancers are one of the few cars I've been in in real life, and in game there's none of the rumble and growl that makes a hotted up Lancer such an experience.
    • The AI are really difficult to drive against, at difficulty above 85% they have 20kmh on the player on straights, so can only be effectively raced against on tight circuits. If the difficulty is set so that they don't just streak away on straights, they're Sunday drivers through corners.
    • There are holes in the external geometry - you can see straight through the car via holes where the lights are misaligned on the boot. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if you could actually pass the bastards on straights instead of being forced to look at their rears as they pull away :)
Far be it for me to say what the dev priorities should be, but one of the hallmarks of AMS1 was the incredible consistency in audiovisual, AI and physics/FFB quality between the classes. It'd be great to see the same thing eventually in AMS2.

The new tyre update totally fixes the Lancer! Now they're the most fun touring cars in AMS2. Just four-wheel drifting goodness.

    A very good improvement.

On the other hand, the Puma GT5 seems now totally undrivable? No grip at all
