Just wondering what sound frequency and sampling rate AMS2 outputs at. My mobo is capable of hi res audio and I have a nice set of headphones....just wondering what AMS2 is capable of. Also, is it worth using the headphone mix in the menu, or leaving it on regular stereo. What is the difference. And finally, the LFE slider. What does this do exactly. Thank you in advance.
Dunno what bit rate and sampling rate is used but it won't be high res - it will likely be 1411 Kbps at 44.1 kHz or less. In other words CD quality or less. It won't be Hi Res. Headphone mix is two channel with less extreme audio panning. LFE boosts amplitude of the low frequency "sub" channel when using audio formats that include it - such as 5.1.
